Congratulations! :{>: I'm so happy for you! Obviously, she's gifted. There is nothing wrong with teaching a kid to read using the Daily Racing Form so I'm sure you'll get started on that right away. Make sure she's well-rounded though--don't forget Haskin's columns and Bill Nack's, well, everything. You can use BSFs to explain numbers and Thoro-Graph takes care of negatives. Morning line odds with their fractions. This sport has it all!

Congrats, Kev! That's wonderful. And may I add, handicapping is an excellent way to develop her math skills...

In other news.............

My wife informs me last night that we are expecting our third bundle of joy. There must be something in the DT cyberwater.

So is this how I explain our St. Bernard apparently mating with the golden retriever 3 doors down the street. Very unusual looking puppies.....

Great News

Congrats GPK....
Brings back memories when my first was born over 10 years ago....
That feeling of holding her in the delivery room was something special!
And to think, today my daughter Lila is reading the thorograph sheets and asking every Saturday and Sunday if we can play the races!

Enjoy...

Paul

I fell in love the same way 4 years ago today. Just wait 'til she say's " I love you Daddy" the first time, or when she corrects you on the little things, like "they're not jockey's daddy, they're JOCK'S". It's going to melt you're heart every time. :D
