Paul Newman's. For the sake of nutrition, however, Jess opted to pursue fat-free philanthropy in the future.

People keep talking about slots, is that really the issue that the sport has, or is it a complete ineptitude to put out the best product for the people that truly support the sport, not people pulling one armed bandits.

you make the most sense of all of these posts. it has nothing to do with zenyatta or rachel. the sport got screwed with the advent of these ridiculous poly tracks. no one wants to admit it. horse racing was already losing its following and then this. then the "morons that be" run it twice at the same venue. just asking for trouble. i gaurantee it will be more than just rachel that don't show up along with the handle and many fans. i bet about 50 bucks on that crap last year. sure a bunch of turf horses will show up because they have an advantage, why wouldn't they? but for 2 years in a row true dirt only horses take the shaft. what a joke since most horses here compete for the highest purses on dirt and are left with the decision of going to SA two years in a row. the connections might as well be pulling the handle on a slot machine if they enter. now the sport is even more watered down and the results in the BC are about meaningless.

What happened to doing the "Sporting" thing? The sporting thing would be to run in the BC even if it's on Zenyatta's home track. If RA is that good she should have no problem running on synthetics.

When was the last time Zenyatta ventured outside of the sunthetic surface/Bute filled state of California?

when you run in the breeders cup you are not ducking anyone.

What about all the races BEFORE the Breeders Cup? How about if a horse runs in the BC "Dirt" Mile to avoid runners in the Classic? How about a top turf filly who runs in the BC Turf Distaff as opposed to the BC Turf? Or the juvenile who runs in the turf race instead of the dirt juvenile? It still can happen. Even in the Breeders Cup.

To me there are only 7 real BC races, winning anyone of those is special.

I wish she would run in the PC or HGC but the thought they should travel just to travel seems crazy to me, especially to run against fillies for the same money.

bull crap, when the breeders cup is rigged in favor of certain horses. who wants to show up? like i said before it won't be just rachel. many other owners and trainers will feel the same way. the breeders cup lacks all credibility in my opinion. one year maybe, people will put up with it. after the results of last years events watch how many jump ship. the breeders cup and their leadership shot the thing right in the butt with this deal. no one going to care who wins at the rate its going.

that has nothing to do with the horse or her connections, you have issues with the BC, as I do.

The best horses are supposed to show up that day, thats why its the year end goal.
