However, who could forget Huey Lewis' outstanding rendition...

Thanks. I stand corrected. I didn't realize that.....just as, luckily, I didn't realize Huey Lewis covered it as well.

Now that Bogey has mentioned it, I was sort of intrigued by Riley Tucker's seemingly improved form under Baffert and off of Poly, may be worth a token longshot bet and an include in exotics.

I missed the top of the stretch because I was making announcements but he finished-up strong this time... hopefully he moved a bit later to not make me look like a fool!

Hope you scored!

I know Straight Story won, but how did he look.? I'll try to check the replay sites

He won by 6, no contest. You are on fire today.

Thx. Travis, made only a small score in this race.

Was originally going to try to beat Bribon. I thought maybe someone could jump up and get him beat if he moved a little too early, but Garcia seemed to be patient enough from the replay i just watched tonight.

Went to Belmont park today for the 1st time. It was really nice. Unfortunately was too ill to stay for the Met Mile but did catch about 7 races. Masterofthehouse's nose victory over my single of Grapple killed me(in what should have been a nice exacta score).
Not my better wagering day, Totally forgot about using Sezzana early, and although my plan had been focused on a play against Brave Tin Soldier, and keying Grapple, (and then the Met) ,managed to avoid big bucks.
Daughter and I made a nice Belmont Stakes hat with a carnation as the flower piece. Might post one up if the pics come out half decent.

Will definitely go again.

....yeah, i was thinking of "well alright" the buddy holley
song which blind faith covered as well as santana.

Every time I hear Dave Mason I think of old Yankee Stadium. Any time an opposing player/coach/manager would argue with the an ump they would play we just disagree.

Three Dog Night had a version as well.

Dave Mason should play Arlington. He lives close by.

Le Protégé

the other roll has a better view of the centerpiece of the hat.
you can barely make out the carnation
and a few biats here, the feathers are pretty cool.
