the same horse won the Pilmlico Special from off the pace the following year with Eibar Coa aboard - so yes that is another Grade 1 he might have had for his career , do you think Jerry would not have wanted to win the Pimlico Special the next year , i think it's a Grade 1 isn't it?
Not winning a grade 1 on a horse that you rode in 2 legs of the triple crown the year before is not losing something? |

You are still talking about him losing his mount on eddington!!?!?!?! gales you are funny! |
I know he's had others but other than Summer Colony has Hennig had a better horse? Not to my recollection, so what exactly did Bailey miss out on I ask.

honey... I'm sure Bailey cries himself to sleep at night knowing that he lost Hennigs mount and missed out on a Pimlico Special win... a race that he won THREE times!!! Gosh I cant believe I'm supporting a case for Bailey... I feel the same way about him as Steve does.. but really Gales... please try to stop repeating the same damn question 27 times. |

ok it's over no more on the subject |
Didn't they cancel the Pimlico Special two years after Eddington won it? So to answer gales' question, no, it doesn't really count for much anymore.
