A couple years ago a company in Mass. was developing a flexible screen the size of a newspaper that you could download data and flip through pages. I tried to find it recently and don't think it made it to the market. With ink and paper costs I think I could pay $500 for something like that and come out ahead.
Anyone hear of it? |
Maybe if they raise the price more, they will be available.......NO WHERE !

When I started reading the Form (and its sister paper, the Morning Telegraph), it was 50 cents, not $5 or more. I live in Lexington and I know of several places to get DRF but I don't bother. I download, 'cap off the computer the day before and make notes about important things I notice about each horse. Then if I go to the track (ours is open only two months a year), I can use the program PPs with my notes instead of the more cumbersome DRF.

Yea, but this was flexible and as large as a newspaper

I like the DRF for the large space devoted to the timely world and national news....:) Truly, whenever I introduce someone to the DRF and wagering I always point out how even derelict gamblers still want to know a bit about what's going on in the world. |
