I wonder if Lee Chang Ferrell will be in attendance this year to celebrate his 10th anniversary.

You disqualify KG on a play that he got fouled on, you're going to get your way. Hope you guys enjoy the stolen win.

alysheba4 02-05-2009 10:49 PM

LOL, clearly I'm sweating it. Had they been outplayed, I'd be fine with it. You rip one of the big three out of the game on a play that HE got fouled on, it's a joke, and I'm not OK with it.

whats your thoughts on this years card dirt?

i think its the same as years past, just with less horses

what a shame

The sequence of this year's card is absolutely abysmal, but I am guessing that's because they're not running a pick six and wanted to spread out the stakes races. Don't the purses seem really low for some of these races? I definitely seem to remember the Jacobs, Gallorette, etc., all having significantly larger purses in previous years?

All of that being said, there are a couple of fun-looking races to bet. The Dixie should be nice.

This is a good answer to my thread which I asked why Saratoga doesnt open up their infield anymore. Good grief, where do these people come from? Yuuueech.

To Hell with alcohol! There's a movement afoot this morning (started about two minutes ago) to make the Preakness infield to a 'shroom festival. Let's see how they handle that when some psychedelicized fans want to get out there and feel the breeze of the horseys running by:D
