Get rid of his Sec. of the Treasury.
Timothy Geithner did not know summer camp is not a tax deduction...
honest mistake... that is a crock.

Most of the other appointments have pgardn's approval.

I wish more people really understood the problems with
no child left behind and school vouchers (the vouchers presented
for the State of Texas are nothing short of pure stupidity, a clear
violation of the separation of church and state... and much more.)

Also some of the very worst students in Science that I have taught
come from private religion associated schools. If this is close to representative to the rest of the country we can forget about any advancement in Science. Oh yes. The home schooled kids are awful
also Science wise. Even if their parents are Doctors.

i also think they should get rid of the death penalty-the state should not make killing unlawful-rightfully so-and then engage in the same thing. and yes, i get that it's punishment.
now, there are still times when someone particularly loathsome is found guilty of some godawful crime that i have a very visceral response-kill the bastard. but that's why laws are supposed to be based on sound judgment, not emotion.
as for more gun laws-i hope you never get your wish. gun laws don't impact criminals-they only provide more victims. you think a criminal will think twice about committing a violent crime, because guns are illegal? uh, so's the robbery he's about to commit-he couldn't care less about any laws.

1) Since the gun lovers always invoke their interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, I think it's reasonable to look at the 8th as well. If killing another person isn't considered "cruel and unusual punishment", I'm not sure what would qualify. And the "eye for an eye" logic doesn't cut it in my mind.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruel_a...ual_punishment

2) The fact that even one innocent person could be put to death, and we all know that many have, is reason enough to ban it.
3) A life sentence in solitary is a much more appropriate penalty and I can honestly say that god forbid I was in a position to have a say in sentencing, that is what I would request.

4) Without the need for appeals, millions and millions would be saved annually and would cover the extra facilities needed to house life without parole prisoners.

actually, i read not long ago that there is no evidence that an innocent man (in the u.s.) has been put to death.
of course, banning it outright would keep it that way.

This should be fun..

Not surprisingly, I agree with every single thing on this list - particularly the first three - but we all know he isn't going to touch those.

* Ban semi-automatic weapons and no concealed carry - TOTALLY 100% AGREE

in order for evil to triumph all it takes is for a good man to do nothing (or be unable to do anything)

The only ones that have to worry when an honest man has a gun are the dishonest men

it is better to have a semi-automatic weapon and not need than to need a semi-automatic weapon and not have one

The "private sector" not only wants better cures for cancer, ruptured ACL's, etc., the private sector is the primary scientific researcher here.
