Im not saying the top 2 arent very good horses, Im just sayin those top two arent top 2 on conventional dirt.

Yes, Tiago can suck up on any surface. Thats what he is, a career garbage collector. I dont care what Ragozines say, or Jerry Brown, or Beyer, he is what he is...a suckup

I do agree that the top 2 pedigrees arent the typical Euro and you can certainly make an argument they may not be horrible on the dirt. That being said I dont think either beat Curlin on dirt. As for Tiago he doesnt sniff Curlins tail on dirt

I know Raven's Pass wouldn't have won because if that race is not on synthetic, his trainer said he wouldn't have even entered him. Same for Ventura. But yeah, the surface makes no difference. Wait till next year. The Mile on grass may have zero entries, all of them going for the Classic. Seriously, if anyone trained a winner of a race like the QE II or the King George and you are considering coming over for the BC, it would be criminal to not be in the Classic. And consider this......Goldikova had destroyed Henry in their last meeting. She should have been in the Classic too.

Forget down the hillside, GPK, they'd need to go down the interstate.

Tiago was a suck up third, when you are never really in it to win the race and catch a horse who tried to win a race........honestly it happens every day, I dont even think the two trips/efforts are equatable.

Agreed. Look at the king of the suck ups...Steppenwolfer. Still hasnt won a race but might have come in fifth here.

Tiago has won races. It's nonsense to compare the 2.
