The AFC is full of weak teams right now and I think 3 teams in the NFC east are better than any team in the AFC so yes they have a shot and of course I want them to win, that gives the pack a better draft pick. I agree they have the same QB as ly, but they don't have the same WR's or RB's as the pack had which are far superior than the Jets.

And the only reason he won't get sacked 43 times is that he's going to start unloading the ball before he gets killed which is going to start turning those sacks into interceptions as the season goes on.

Have you watched Greg Jennings or Donald Driver play? Greg Jennings will soon prove to be a top 5 wr in the league. A healthy Ryan Grant is far superior than TJ. Ryan grant has the same yards per carry as TJ and is not 100% right now. Greg Jennings leads the NFL in receiving yards. Where do you think you are better?

Grant's not healthy so I'll give that a push, but top to bottom the Packers have the best WRs in the NFL, IMO (obviously)

Jennings and Driver are good, but Cotchery and Coles are underrated and both #1 WR material, and Smith, Stuckey, Baker and Keller can all play.

TJ and Grant may be a push, but Leon is way better than anything you have behind Grant.

I'm not sure the Pack is above them, but they are right there with the Cardinals for the best corps.

As for the RB's, I would agree that it's a push, although neither team has a top 15 back. I'd say the Jets have a better change of pace back in Leon W, but as a whole they seem even.

LOL.

Jay, you could throw 3 TD's against the Cards

LOL @ me. Forgot how passive this defense gets when it has a lead.

I just like giving you and Joey a hard time. For ya'lls sake I hope the Jets have a good year. I don't have a team that I root for as a diehard, but push comes to shove, I really like the Chargers as I am a huge fan of LT.

Bench Favre!

:$:

ateamstupid 09-28-2008 03:25 PM

Eric Smith, you're a ****ing moron. The Jets need to cut him tonight. Sorry to Cardinal fans.. Hope Boldin is OK.

1st game I ever attended where both teams came out of halftime in the prevent defense. AZ scores 35 in the 2nd half and loses handily. Brilliant decision to throw across the middle down three tds with 30 seconds to play.

2 of favre's TD passes were to guys so wide open it was unbelievable.

ateamstupid 09-28-2008 09:49 PM

I just can't begin fathom how well Vinny Testaverde or Brett Ratliff would've undoubtedly done today. If washed up old limp corpse Favre could throw six TD's, there's no doubt that either of those two superstars could've thrown eight or nine!

All I'll say is sometimes it pays to keep the faith.
