Interesting..you have a geology background?

herkhorse 07-22-2008 06:06 PM

Took some geology in college.

How do you know so much about big toys?

Mortimer 07-22-2008 06:23 PM

I was in construction. We did specialty work ;chemical and cement pressure grouting for cut off curtains and soil stabilization as well as lifting settled things. Did bentonite slurry walls ,too. Was always around the big stuff doing what we did.

We also did erosion control work using 4x8 limestone in gabions...which were loaded a lot by Gradealls.

And I spread dolomite for better soil health.

Mortimer 07-22-2008 06:24 PM

Please note my dot is green.

Interested in meeting like females.

herkhorse 07-22-2008 06:33 PM

Interesting stuff Morty.

How fine did you grind the dolomite?

I have kids, my green light is on alot while I chase them around outside. I am on invisible mode even when I'm here.

Mortimer 07-22-2008 06:35 PM

I buy it that way.

Your last line was funny....but I did say females.

Mortimer 07-22-2008 06:36 PM

Oh...how fine is the grind.

Pellets...little pellets. Maybe a quarter inch or so in diameter.

Always great hearing from the board coal hod.

herkhorse 07-22-2008 06:48 PM

I live next to a bunch of cows. Not much to look at , but they make good neighbors. I think they are all females too.

Mortimer 07-22-2008 07:48 PM

More interesting stuff.

Think if they were sheep. You could open up a bred n' breakfast for BentMahPud and his friends.
