You don't want to be called the village idiot yet, in the same post, you say don't know why you posted what you did.

If the Sailor's Cap fits, wear it.

Turf Cup will likely be a pretty cool betting race.

El Sultry Sun seems to be running under the radar. But his only losses have come when he had post positions far on the outside (10 and 11) and he has the rail today. He's a half-brother to Solar Splendor, who won two Man o' Wars (at 4 and 5) and a Turf Classic, he's improving with racing, and should have no trouble with the distance; a decent 'each-way' (on the board) chance.

12-1 certainly seems too high...

I'm going to go with Kentucky Bear in the Cup. I liked his finish in the Bluegrass, then heard before the Derby and Preakness how great he looked in training. Had a very bad trip in the Preakness, my gut says to play him at good odds

And, why isn't everyone going to be pounding Starvinsky in the 6th?

My only two wagers today as I have kids' birthday parties to go to at a campground. Hope the weather is fine for all areas today

Is this where I say "I don't like your tone?"...or "Sarcasm?"

I'm in the midst of a losing streak, have really slowed down my betting, only bet that Suffolk Downs "tip" yesterday that came in last, I think.

Good luck to you, Hooves, and may all the race results make sense today.

WTF is the problem with this Virginia necky bullshit of hardly offering any horizontal betting opportunities? Damn they are just slow (in every possible way...except in making their way to the fkn circular buffet.)

Nice call man.

That was a weird race though. A few minutes before post, the sky opened up and the horses went for cover for about 10-15 minutes, delaying the race for a bit. Kentucky Bear had about a five length lead through and quit.

Thanks. They had quite a storm.

I actually managed not to screw it up. Bet one exacta with the second horse.

Bobby Fischer 06-21-2008 07:32 PM

Me too. Blew that one. Decided to play an exacta keying Sailor's Cap and Your Round on top over Sailor's Cap, Nistle's, Your Round, and Ky Bear. Figured the tri would be too chaotic and even a SC/Nistles exacta would pay a decent number... $47 was very short.

Can't believe Sailor's Cap paid $9.20..
