It's funny how the media does such little research on these guys and just calls them investment bankers. These guys are not investment bankers. Far from it. Any moron with a pulse rate....a good grip on the english language...and the ability to lie their a##'s off and f#ck people outta money without having any regrets can get a "Wall Street" job like these clowns did.

At the time I thought this was great that they were going to give a percentage of Big Browns winnings to this hurt officer, but after the last place finish it doesn't seem so nice.

That's a little unfair.

it is a little unfair, but what percentage of the last place finish is this guy getting? Shouldn't they still do something and fork over a little money, I'm sure they can afford it. Who knows, maybe they will but I doubt it.

Have you given any money to this person you suddenly seem to care a great deal about?

This whole thing is grossly unfair by you for a lot of reasons.

If I wasn't in debt to college loans I probably would donate some money. I give these guys all the credit for what they said they would do, who would have thought Big Brown would finish last? I thought for sure this officer would be getting a percentage of a first place check, but now that it did not happen why don't they go one step further and reach out to help him a little more if they can afford it. It's just a question, and life is grossly unfair.

You're not really asking a question.....you're unfairly making an accusation.

If I'm alive for $50K in the last leg of a Pick-6 and am alive only to a 1:5 shot and offer you a free 10% of the ticket am I any less generous if the horse loses?

Whether they gave any money or not, and I would bet a lot of money that donations of some kind were already made by members of IEAH, they brought something very nice into the severely damaged lives of some unfortunate people. Who are any of us to stoop so low as to be critical of them over this situation?

If you take cheap shots at anyone then it marginalizes anything you might say that has validity.

I never thought I would be defending IEAH, but maybe they did make donations privately. They have been called out on the carpet for granstanding by publicly announcing this set up with the officer and now they are accused of not doing enough because they didn't announce any private donations? Can't have it both ways

I wasn't trying to say they are bad people or anything like that, I guess my question is that if anyone knows if they still made a donation. Like you said, for all we know they could have made one in private. If I was told I would get a percentage of Big Browns winnings from the Belmont before the race I would have been walking to the bank.

I believe that they said they would donate even if they did not receive any purse money.
