Last year the Derby bonus ended up making the difference as Paisjpq pulled out the win. Second place went to Mclem10011 and third place went to 2 Dollar Bill – congrats to all of them!

Finally, I also will be posting a Triple Crown contest. That one is very easy, pick the winner and a three horse exacta box for each of the three TC races... you can either post your picks here or there - I'll keep track of them where ever you post them!

CONGRATULATIONS to TheSpyder

TheSpyder – Winner of the 2nd Annual Derby Trail Contest! :D

TheSpyder pulled off the upset victory, moving from 32nd place into the winners circle with help from the magical Derby Winner Bonus. TheSpyder was one of only three DTers to pick Big Brown back in the Florida Derby – that pick earned TheSpyder, Dunbar and horseofcourse an extra $120 to their contest total. The place position went to Dunbar, who finished only $2.20 behind the winner :eek: Hoist Her Flag took the place position after leading for the past several weeks.

After 41 races in 18 weeks we have finally reached the end of the contest. Thank you to all that played this year, I hope you had as much fun as I did. Let’s do it again next year!

Wow, I really thought you must have made a mistake cause no way I could catch up, but went back and read the rules.

I guess I won! Super, and what a great lift after having a really bad day loosing my small consulting contract after being out of work for 7 months.....but I won the DT contest so life is good!

PS: Is the trophy edible?
