I am kinda surprised - I was not crazy about the #1 but I guess he got the perfect trip just sitting behind the lone speed.

Rootdog1 04-18-2008 05:01 PM

I think the #3 nails the #2 again here in the 5th

Rootdog1 04-18-2008 05:11 PM

damn it...I knew I should of singled there but I doubted myself since everyone else loved the #2....I hate it when I doubt myself

When you have a strong gut feeling about a race and you get burnt because the crowd was going in another direction you'll usually regret it. I try to practice what I've just preached but it's not easy.

The 5th looked like a two horse race on paper and I went two deep and singled in the 7th with 8. I need 2,5,9 in the sixth. Quasimodo is an absurd 6/5. I'm hoping I'm right about Kingdom Come who is an honest cheap grass horse and 9 Shootist who should get the early lead and if he sets reasonable fractions could wire the field.

Did the same thing in the first leg, thought the 1 was the nuts and was a little bitch with no balls to single in the first leg...

Wouldn't have mattered becuase all of sudden Quasimodo is the second coming

tiggerv 04-18-2008 05:58 PM

Home from work and time to chase some losses. I think the 6 is kind of interesting here in the 7th, will box with the 2 favs.

Quasimodo had a 45 half to run into. Wait till he gets to Hollywood and see 47 and change and 48 halfs. The end result will be different.

tiggerv 04-18-2008 06:33 PM

Will try to beat both favs in the 8th. Boxing 3,4,5

Rootdog1 04-18-2008 06:37 PM

I think the 5 runs big
