To me it read like a tall tale...

and now that he is bragging that he has 17k in his pocket...hmph. Any horseplayer who has hit for that amount knows that taxes are taken out.

Plus the guy is a professional redboarder...

Gotta love these people who consistently post who they have in the last leg of the pick 4. Like we're supposed to give a s.hit what some stranger has when he didn't share it with the rest of us.

It's not about jealousy, mm. It's about telling the truth and having the balls to post your picks before the first leg is run and actually contributing something to this place instead of faux bravado. Until you do that you're nothing more than an attention whore.

Side note: hooves f.uck the haters.

If you are letting that clown bother you, I have you all wrong.

I will say that I am superstitous about posting my tickets ahead of time, if people were to look at all my touts, they would think I was the worst gambler of all time.

Agreed!! When I cap, I try to do so all by my lonesome, then feel gratified when I find a few of my selections in agreement with MR. HOOVES. They become must includes, with his others not on my radar causing me to dig deeper, be a better, more complete capper.

I do not neccessarily need the reasons why, I like solving THAT puzzle as well as the overall puzzle.

Bottomline, Hooves, great job, keep slinging picks!!

There are some on here who appreciate efforts/attempts of worthwhile helpfulness and there are some on here that don't....such is life.

I used to think this board was a curse and my record from the past could make a strong case to prove it. BUT the blame lies solely on my poor handicapping and thankfully I've turned it around with the help of so many here who have shared their opinions and knowledge of the game.

Plus it helps not to bet every track that's running and focus on no more than 3 tracks a day. Controlling the need for action is the most difficult part of the game, IMVHO.

YES...especially if you are an action feine. I can't tell you how many times I have been caught red handed making $100 win bets at Laurel or Pimilco, when Arlington/Belmont/Churchill are running :)

And then there are the Calder bets, oh boy...

TheSpyder 04-16-2008 02:28 PM

How about when you get online and there's 2 minues to post and you do the old one minute cap and bet a race you have no real clue about....only to look at the winner's PP's after and say...oh yea, I should have seen that!

Guilty!
