NYRA was amenable to a great deal of what people propose.....but not the State. It's very hard to guess about what went on, and then point fingers, without knowing the real story.

I hope Bruno takes that bet.

The NYRA owns the land and they should, possibly, sue the state for interfering in their ability to do business.

Owning the property and having the right to run pari-mutual thoroughbred racing on it are two different things.

Some how some way I'd like to see the NYRA put some big time heat on Albany and see how they like it.

I believe that is why they will not seek another temporary extension.

One side of me would love to see that but the other is worried that they wouldn't care. Too many just seem completely oblivious to this issue.
