I'm using her with Show Me Baby.

Hell of a run by the girl. Shame she was bottled up behind some tiring ones.
Without the trouble, DT gets their picture taken.

I don't know if she was screamin' but she was kickin' at the end! Good race and congrats to owners of KNS. Looked like a winner but for the trip...

Got back 15% of her purchase price also, not a bad way to start

Plus I'm sure a bunch of us made back the majority of what we paid initially from wagering on the race. An extremely logical $82 trifecta.

Yeah...that was us....great bunch of people of course.
She looked great! Definitely the best horse. too much trouble to avoid down the stretch but once she broke free....she definitely knew what to do .
She had fun and looked great later at the barn.....yes...pictures to follow.

A great time today. Thanks as always to Chuck and Steve for making this happen and to Mike for being such a great tampa host.

Great pic! Thanks!

Big Mike, how did you get a WHITE block letter DT stables shirt, I GOT HOSED BYK!!!!

I gotta get down there soon.

As usual, a moral victory.

I thought that she ran well considering the traffic she encountered. The #1 quitting so badly on the turn kind of eliminated any chance we would have had at sneaking up the rail. She did finish strong once clear and was probably best. But on the turf more luck is required than on the dirt and we simply had none. She was closer to the pace than usual which may be a combination of a easy pace and the addition of blinkers. I would like her to settle a little more than she did today and may open up her blinkers next time (cut the cups smaller) The turf does have a little give in it so the fractions may be a bit quicker than they seem.

I am not sure that we will run back on the 15th in the same race because I am a bit concerned with giving back all the weight that she has put on. She gets a bit worked up before the race and takes quite a while to settle down afterwards which translates to a big effort for her. Though the sheets will knock her for saving ground, they also wont take into consideration the trouble she encountered. I believe that she ran as well today as she has before and probably has a little more improvement in her, especially if she can settle before, during and after the race. I would be inclined to keep her in the same company and would not mind if the race was a little further.

As always it was great to see the Tampa regulars and meet the new faces. The DT crew had its typical nice turnout and was well represented at the windows as usual. I think that KnS was worth the claim and looks like we have a pretty live filly with all sorts of conditions to look forward to racing.

I ordered one. Picked it up at Saratoga. You were there.

Team Simon is the best. TC is a pro. Socks is a piece of work, thanks to him for "flying the flag" today, she looked great and Chuck has done an awesome job with a pretty high strung filly.

I can't wait for her next race....

Leo - I really like this picture! The angle, the icy colors, the splashing water, the refection - like it so much I'm going to try and enlarge it and frame it. Thanks for those!

Chuck..That race was a microcosm of your 2007...good start, trouble in the middle and a nice finish.

Here's an early New Year's Toast to a great 2008 for all your horses and partners

A good analogy. Next year I would like to show early speed, control all the pace and widen in the lane.

Philosophical question ... if we prove to the racing gods that we have no morals, would we then get the other kind of victory?
