The Bid 07-18-2007 11:16 AM

Ive already ranted about it. PGDN or whatever his name is was misinformed.

Circular Quay as the 5/2 ML favorite is absurd. Just absurd.
If, for some reason, he goes off at anywhere close to the favorite.....I think there will be quite a bit money to win in this race.

Haven't you heard of the Mandatory Pletcher Favorite Morning Line rule?

whodey17 07-20-2007 07:36 AM

I will be amazed if he goes off at 5/2 or lower. The thing about Pletcher being in a race is that other horse move up in odds or you get good value on what should be the true mornline fav.

@ 6-1 I also like Duveen, toss last race b/c winner walked around the track with no pressure. I noticed that Romans snatched up Prado instead of giving the mount back to Guidry.... interesting. Other than that i really like Summer Doldrums who is only 3rd time grass start but has imrpoved a bunch ever since her new debut on the grass, can't excuse Strike a Deal and for a flyer im gonna be using Blazing Dynamo out Dynaformer from the Toner barn, already tested at the distance and i like the way he drew off last out.

I'll let the rest of you fight over CQ

Virginia Oaks: http://www.brisnet.com/bris_link/pdf...tion_81063.pdf

God help me 'cause I'm focusing on Thorn Song(20-1) in the Kitten's Joy, last out maiden winner in his first grass attempt. And I bet he goes off more than 20-1

Ciao in the Oaks(15-1), despite post 13

Inca King(8-1) in the big one

Scav 07-20-2007 12:43 PM

IMO

The horse to watch out for in this race is Soldier's Dancer. Paired his top off the layoff, three maintenance works, race was obviously in the plans and recieves a huge jock switch. Should be enough speed to come flying at the end. Duveen and Strike a Deal at the others in the exacta box.

Love seeing Colonial getting some exposure on CBS

I love seeing Pletcher win everything, I cant wait for the day were he saddles every horse in every stake race!

XIIPointStables 07-21-2007 05:15 PM

At this point, why even bother trying to beat Todd.
Another Pletcher Stakes Weekend in the Summer of 2007.

Keats13 07-21-2007 05:21 PM

Pletcher wins and pays $76. Wow.

XIIPointStables 07-21-2007 05:32 PM

The "other" Pletcher angle has been paying off nicely as of late.

But $76 for a Pletcher winner? Come on now.

I was with Scav on SD. Not a horrible run but not sure he wants 1 1/4.

i never looked at red giant because they had no jockey listed. even the early scratches/changes on xpressbet had no jockey listed .

Antitrust32 07-23-2007 12:37 AM

I liked Red Giant. The Giants Causeway and Pletcher did it for me. I did not play a penny tho.
