Kev I can juggle, I can dribble a basketball and shoot with ease. I can play tennis. But I cannot for the life of me hit a golf ball straight. It must be some particular type of hand eye cooridination. I can even bounce a golfball on the face of a wedge numerous times, but I am horrible golfer. Maybe I was never taught properly... nothing about this game feels comfortable to me but putting and chipping.

If we ever meet up, I will show you that an old man can have eye hand cooridination. If you cant juggle, I can teach you. And you can teach me how to hit a damn ball sitting still.

Golfers are not athletes. Some golfers are "athletic" but being a great golfer and being a great athlete both are simply not a requirement or even close. Reminds of way back when, when Chris Patton won the US Amateur at about 350 lbs. Tank like major winners include Daly, Zoeller, Stadler, Floyd, Cabrera, Beem, Mickelson (not the most svelte man on the planet), Woosnam, etc.

Golfers are highly skilled but not athletes. When body shapes like Daly, Cabrera, Stadler on any given day can be the best in the world...it is simply not an athletic contest.

One of the most comical and also saddest things I ever saw at the same time were many of these clowns politicking to keep Casey Martin off the tour....acting like walking 18 holes not even carrying your own sticks was some sort of huge athletic triumph.
