oh definitely! i wouldn't run anything til derby week...i have never really got into the contest part of this board, so not sure if these things just get thrown in there out of thin air or what. but i wouldn't think anyone would get serious about any of this til that week.

it's not Curlin's fault but he has beat nobody. I want to toss the Bluegrass because it won't mean anything when you compare dirt speed to synthetic against the wind paceless one big run to the wire etc.

If Curlin disappoints, IMO it won't be a bounce. It will be because he's facing tougher competition. Its not as if he hadn't run fast before the Ark Derby.
