How utterly repulsive that these students again will equate their education with malicious violence of previously unknown proportions.

By the grace of God he and his other friends from here have been spared and I am very grateful to all here who were kind enough to inquire

Man, Docoic, I feel for you. In this connected world, nobody can escape an episode like this without someone they know either in person or online being effected. Glad your son is OK...

Good news to hear,Doc! Thanks for letting us know.

GPK 04-16-2007 07:36 PM

first casualty identified..

Mr. Ryan Clark from Georgia.

RIP young man:(

Coach Pants 04-16-2007 07:36 PM

Someone should get fired. What the police chief and university president failed to do is inexcusable. Just imagine if it was your kid who died today and you find out that the university president decided to not lockdown the campus and cancel classes.

People die every day from similar type incidents, just not on this scale

So now, many people will feed off this. But in reality, it is just another episode of someone going nuts and killing people. Fact is, many will look for comfort and sympathy that have nothing to do with this.

Fact is, several people should be without a job. THE BALL WAS DROPPED BETWEEN 7AM AND 10AM.

How many people die every day from..........................................

cancer, aids, shootings, drugs, alcohol, wrong way drivers, bad pet food I could go on and on

Bad deal that will enable many people who have no bearing, no interest in the situation to feed their life, their ego off it

I feel for those involved, but my life goes on unchanged

Meanwhile the grieving familes will go on

It is rare that I feel at a complete loss having read someone's opinion.

My only thought being . . .BE GLAD THAT IT IS NOT YOUR CHILD AND THAT YOU MAY NOT EVER KNOW SUCH GRIEF.

As it changes your life, FOREVER.

sorry man....but you were the one bitching and moaning about a sore tooth last week and looking for sympathy.

Now you can't give any respect to people being involved in the WORSE MASSACRE in US history???

Im sorry....but this has hit very close to home today. I saw the look of fear and panic in my buddies eyes because his wife works at Va Tech. The 3 most critical injured are in a hospital that sits less than 5 minutes from my apartment. They are in very critical condition and still unsure if they are gonna make it.

Give what a rest? You aren't lecturing DTS here...nothing about my post was political!

Crazy shiat...

My sis has an HK. I own two handguns myself, and IMO it's horrible that this happened, because now people are going to point fingers at Bush and say that nobody should be allowed to own guns.

I agree. You had every right to mention that. In fact, it isn't mentioned enough.

sometimes, when you can think of nothing to say, i'm sorry generally will do. or maybe nothing at all, rather than something like the above!

bullshit it wasn't. KIDS DYING IN IRAQ compared to THIS. No where NEAR comparable. That is like comparing Arlington to Hawthorne

Get off your rocker

Where did you find this? This guy was really sick... the titles to these albums are lewd. It's hard to believe that someone can hate life as much as that. Really sad.
