There is no beating the Catholics on Christmas Eve, though....midnight mass.

NOBODY beats them.

See for yourself....go with a slight buzz on.......see all the beautiful colors.....listen to the angelic like choir singing the finest songs of this time......smell the smell of the mesmerizing incense.

It jist don't git no better 'an 'at.

Morte, us Episcopalians can rival you Catholics every holiday, midnight on Christmas Eve, or lunchtime on Ash Wednesday......doesn't matter. We both have much in common.

Keep in mind though, our doctrine isn't as hard and fast as yours, we're more open and accepting.

I'll be darned.

But I resigned from Catholicism quite some time ago and am now unattached.

Interesting though.

Do you have a daughter in Tennessee by any chance?

No daughter Morte'; not one in Tennessee or any other state.

Mortimer 04-08-2007 06:34 PM

Tell me why you are asking Morte'.

Mortimer 04-08-2007 06:52 PM

Well I know someone like you who has a daughter in Tennessee.

And then I know another who has a friend named Guppy.

It's fairly innocent....just curious because it would be a major coincidence, but I'm just nosy like that.

Grits 04-08-2007 06:54 PM

Morte, honey, there's right many (like you) of us Episcopalians nationwide.

Not all of them play horses though.

Mortimer 04-08-2007 06:56 PM

You'd be surprised.

Grits 04-08-2007 06:58 PM

I probably would, given that there's a few, I'm sure, in the Northeast.

Mortimer 04-08-2007 07:28 PM

Well these are scattered in the NW and South.

I'm not doing very well here.

Nurse?

Ever been one?

No Morte', though I've had a good deal of contact with them.

Mortimer 04-08-2007 08:19 PM

You're a doctor?

Morte' why am I finding "moi" the object of your curiosity this evening?

Do you want to play "doctor?"

Or if you're looking for someone that enjoys horseracing, I'm here.

If you're looking for someone that can pay for her own dinner, again, I'm here.

If you're married, you'd better hush.

(There may be a THUD coming back on this.)

Who is moi!!?

Do you want to play "doctor?"

I already played that with Care-la.....she removed my meniscus!!

Or if you're looking for someone that enjoys horseracing, I'm here.

Now you're a horse !!?

If you're looking for someone that can pay for her own dinner, again, I'm here.

I'd be a lot more impressed if you could pay for MommyDearests.

If you're married, you'd better hush.

I am single and quite attractive.

(There may be a THUD coming back on this.)

Ah don't thank so.

Mortimer 04-09-2007 06:59 AM

I'm afraid you'll have to pick a number.

DON'T get shutout.

How high up do the numbers go before I get shutout? I know that you like to save the best for last.
