Lava Man stopped like he was chained to a stump. His owners have to be the dumb as a post and I will say that Lava Man will never regain his form. Too Bad he was fun to watch.

shipping on turf didn't do any better then shipping to run on dirt....it was worth one more try i guess....certainly hasn't hurt him shippiing in the past when he returned home.
he hasn't lost in cali since '05. and i disagree that he won't return to form, he has every other time.

agreed. he'll win another $1.5 Mil in CA before he's done. not bad for a "claimer"... where are all of the English Channel fans?

Actually, this exacta wouldn't have done me any good. Should have put my place bet on one of those two, instead of the one of the 3 I picked who didn't hit the board. (This is, by the way, a typical thing for me - narrow it down, then pick the only one that tanks.)
