I suck, but I doubt anyone else has VA winning it all. If they do that, I'll win.

I almost just killed my bracket with UO playing such a close game against Miami, OH.

I've got them being the runners up this year, and that performance did zero to make me believe in that pick.

They're better than that, i hope they show it going forward.

You ever notice how the losing coach sometimes is walking past the other coach so fast that the two can barely shake hands? It is a wonder how the Illinois coach didn't jam a finger by trying to shake the winning coach's hand while flying by him.

Had to take an athlete to NYC this AM for MRI...got 10 miles in the 8 inches of sleet/ice on the Long Island Expressway,,,they closed the LIE down, tons of cars all over the road. Turned around and came home. Took 2 hours for 20 miles of aggrevation.

Time to handicap todays cards and watch hoops on CBS!:D

IrishofNDMan 03-17-2007 10:48 AM

They pretty much self-destructed in the last four minutes of that game. Now they're going to have to to to OSU what OSU did to them in the next few minutes cuz now they're down 8.

I seen it so many times the team that blows the game in
regulation hardly ever wins the game in OT. The air just
comes right out of them.

Brian you survive another day in the Bracket Pool

stevepopyak 03-17-2007 02:34 PM

Major choke job by Xavier .... have to give Ohio State credit for nailing that three to send it to OT, that was from way out there !

Absolutely right more of Xavier losing it, than OSU winning it

That just saved my office bracket too.

It's not the kind of win in an NCAA bracket that you want to brag about, but I'll take it.

I've always been a believer that the good teams just get it done, one way or another -- and Xavier certainly helped them get it done today.

cmorioles 03-17-2007 02:40 PM

Xavier certainly blew it.

I will say the refs had no balls as that last foul by Oden should have been considered flagrant, intentional, or a technical.

As for the end, why teams don't foul when up three at the end is beyond me. The chances of hitting a three are exponentially greater than scoring three points when getting fouled in the back court or near mid court.

A win is a win, I rather take a ugly win, than a good loss

No kidding looked like he was playing football, there was no attempt
going for the ball

ddthetide 03-17-2007 02:52 PM

i'd say that OSU losing would have blown-up a whole lotta brackets !!
