Hey Talbot,

Any idiot can win a ball game, by hurting the player on a team he's pitching against. To bad that the American League has the D.H. rule, cause I'd love to see you and that spic who hit Mark Teixeira in the back come to the plate to hit.

I know that the balls thrown at the Yankees ? ? is done to put them out of action. However, it didn't work. The Yankees still kicked ass.

Also, tell the interpreter of that Fausto Carmon to tell Carmona, to learn English.

A die hard Yankee fan!

THUD

horseofcourse 06-21-2011 07:40 PM

That Colorado pitcher is going to throw a no hitter. They have nothing remotely close to a hit through 5. New hitting coach stinks.

horseofcourse 06-21-2011 08:01 PM

We got a hit. awesome.

clyde 06-21-2011 08:40 PM

thud!

clyde 06-21-2011 09:04 PM

I quit...that's it.

Baseball sucks

clyde 06-21-2011 09:31 PM

blech!!

This is the last time I quit,HC.

I'm sorry to leave you defending against the filthy savages here.

But it was certainly a lot of fun.

horseofcourse 06-22-2011 08:13 AM

I've had the privelege of watching these last two games as all Rocky games are shown on TV where I live, I know how exciting!! They have also reinforced my hate for baseball.

I think we are down to Dopey now. Look at his last 3 games. dopey appears to have some intestinal fortitude...

Sunday...2-2 tie in 11th, 3 run home run
Monday...down 8-6 in 8th, 2 out rbi single gets them very close.
Tuesday...down 3-1 in 8th, leadoff hit, starts two run rally to tie
down 4-3 in 9th, 2 out triple giving them another chance for extras

America's dopey.

the 9th inning was one of the most tragic things I've seen in my lifetime. Manny pinch ran for Hafner in the 8th as he was go ahead run, I guess he had to do it, but 1st and 3rd in 9th, two outs he's left with the decision of Orlando Cabrera, Everett, and Urns to hit. Sort of like choosing which means of capital punishment you want. He chose the last one I would choose. Yes he chose Urns. My son said, "dad, Choo is on deck!", I said, I'm 95 percent certain Urns will strike out...I actually said "urns". Houston Street proceeded to throw 6 straight balls to Urns, and yes, Urns swung at 3 of them. Any time a ball player is swinging at pitches Here's Jhonny wouldn't even dream of swinging at, it's a human tragedy. Urns makes Jhonny look like Joe Dimaggio.

I hate basebally.

I once went 3/4 off Chad Ogea in a high school game back in 1988.

That's awesome! Although most went 3 for 4 off Ogea in his career.

Did you really?

He actually had a couple pretty good years for the Tribe.

And that was about it.

What position did you play?

That was Steve Olin, Tim Crews, and Bob Ojeda. Olin and Crews died.

He wasn't exactly unhitable at the pro level, but at the time he did do a fair job as a 3 starter. However in high school he was pretty tough.

1B and P in high school, OF in college. I throw with the wrong hand.

No kidding?

Southpaw is good.Sounds like you were pretty good.he was a junk thrower in the majors, but would guess that stuff could be very hard to hit in hs,college.So..was it? What does does that stuff look like from someone who can throw it well?

Will be back later...anxious to see.

He was a nibbler with his CB, and very good at changing speeds with his CB and FB. He was no good high in the zone with any of his pitches, especially his CB since it was 3/4.

That was his ticket in the majors, too.Interesting.

Thanks so much.

Hey.

I notice most starters throw about 60% strikes.Tomlin usually is very close to 70%.

That doesn't happen too often from what I see.

Let's see how he does tonight.

Should be fun.

clyde 06-22-2011 09:08 PM

AMERICA'S TEAM!!!!

I never doubted them.

Should be fun.

He pitched very well, another W. Gives up a ton of home runs but when you don't walk anyone have to string hits together. It's been painful watching these Rocky broadcasters. For having 15 to 20 hall of famers minimum on their team you'd think they'd be better than .500 this year. I guess all these talking heads are massive homers for their home team now. Must be in their contracts. I knew tulowitzski was good but I never knew he was better than a Honus Wagner/Ozzie Smith combo but I know that now. They said the Indians would go 0-9 in NL parks because hafner can't play. Maybe they are right.

Pestano and Sipp are very, very nasty. C perez kept Seth Smith in the park tonight...barely. It's a W for America's team and the Tiggers finally won so they stay in first place longer than I thought two weeks ago.

clyde 06-22-2011 09:29 PM

Boy, must be fun listening to talking doorknobs.

And may they go Tribe 9-0.

Typical NL jealousy.....thanks for another fine report,HC.

they were truly shocked they didn't sweep America's team. The Tribe is good at home other than that Texas series. I'd be overjoyed to take 2 of 3 in any road series. These guys were furious. They couldn't believe the luck of the Tribe tonight.

That hanging slider by Perez last night is the only earned run given up by the pen in the last 29 innings.

clyde 06-22-2011 09:54 PM

!!

It's that thin air still in their bloodstream....makes them see things that are not there.

clyde 06-23-2011 05:43 PM

No play 'um today.

But here's what I think happens:

Exhausto is unsalvageable.Huff will replace him. They will throw Exhausto away. The hitting at 3rd and first isn't going to get better.Minor mircales to replace those two.

The 1st and 3rd base coaches will be fired.

The Indians will finish at 88-74...one game behind Detroit.

Thanks so much.

horseofcourse 06-27-2011 05:30 PM

Oh my God. I leave home for a few days to go fight grizzly bears, and I see the Indian pitching staff gave up 4 earned runs in a 3 game series and went 0-3. Dahla is the worst hitting coach ever. The even wasted exhausto's only good start of the month. Choo now has a decapitated thumb but even a very bad 2011 Choo is much, much better than an increased portion of Urns. The disaster is complete, June 26th was the official last day in first place.

Alan is dead, as you know.

But I would like to comment.

Dahla is really the worst GM ever...and she has to be.You can tell Prez Shapiro's replacement is a mere puppet; and you know she plays that part well.

If I ever go blind .... and according to my catechism class nuns, I must be close...but at least I'm not alone------anyhow... Dahla would refuse to be my eyes.

horseofcourse 06-27-2011 11:25 PM

A win. That's a miracle. 5 runs in one single game. Oh my goodness, home runs by multiple Cabrera's and some guy named Lonnie is now playing 3rd base. Dopey will have 100 errors if he continues at his current pace. 1 run in 4 innings is actually a very bad game by the bullpen. They survived it. Talbots pitched 4 no hit innings after the 1st. Dahla as the GM would make more sense. Alomar Jr is 1st base coach, firing him would cause fan uprisings amongst the 13,000 at the stadium.

clyde 06-28-2011 04:00 PM

!!

LC is one of the minor miracles who will save the Tribe's ass this year.

What Dahla is saving hers for----is anyones guess.

horseofcourse 06-28-2011 04:39 PM

Dopey and the Chiz.

I'm not holding my breath for miracles from those two. I've read LC can only hit right handed pitchers, which I guess is an improvement from most of our batters who can't hit any pitchers at all. But they've finally decided Hannahan can't hit the .230 he needed to hit to justify his gold glove defense playing every day. Shame the guy is a .200 hitter, he can really pick it at 3rd.

clyde 06-28-2011 08:00 PM

OOOOOOOOOO

God knows what this team wants to be.

Keep the Dahla stuff going....she only responds to adulation so that stuff keeps her away.

Which is good.

horseofcourse 06-28-2011 09:41 PM

Well, 2 doubles and a single in 6 at bats against right handers is an improvement I must say.

horseofcourse 06-28-2011 09:43 PM

Evidently tomlin is our best hitter too. He pitches strikes and hits strikes. who knew?

horseofcourse 06-28-2011 09:50 PM

America's DH is gonna have to pinch hit for Sizemore tonight instead of the pitcher. It is truly sad seeing Grady become an absolute zero as a ball player before he even turns 30. He can now do nothing well on the field. Sad.

horseofcourse 06-28-2011 11:49 PM

Manny screwed that one up...he used his bullpen backward using R perez as his number 1 lefty and Sipp number 2. It's been reversed all year, they were discombobulated.

clyde 06-29-2011 12:45 AM

Swell comments.

Everything is going wrong....Sandy Alomar is biding his time.

horseofcourse 06-29-2011 02:54 PM

Oh my God clyde, here's the 4-5-6-7-8 hitters for the Tribe today....

.225
.213
.194
.233
.214

This is a team that is 1 game out of first place. Urns batted in the 1st with two men on....he struck out of course!! Carrasco got his run, he's gonna have to go 8 shutout at least I think.

clyde 06-29-2011 03:17 PM

This is shameful.I realize the steroid era is over, but maybe these guys should give that some thought. The possibilities of Urns on the boost by the end of the year:

BA.... .248

HRs..... 11

RBIs..... 46

It isn't worth it....hopeless.

clyde 06-29-2011 03:42 PM

Hey goat hold it!!

They're playing now??

clyde 06-29-2011 03:44 PM

Oh my God.

They have 4 runs and it's not even a whole game.

I'm not looking anymore or I'll curse them.
