No, your slanted blog that panders to those like yourself doesn't give the full quote and doesn't post the questions surrounding it.

By the way, you didn't capitalize "so" and there is supposed to be an apostrophe after politicians. Of course, you knew that.

Even if we're still in a recession, I'm going to go through with my tax cuts," Obama said. "That's my priority."

Again, factcheck.org

so that part isn't out of context, but the part about raising cap gains being on hold is? so, he's going to lower our taxes...but not raise any on the rich, and pay for all that wonderful new stuff he promised. this i gotta see. gonna be AWESOME. we can rename the usa utopia. i don't know how i'll sleep tonite.

I didn't say you called it news. I merely pointed out that you obviously don't know the difference.

Who has a dirty little mind here?

Mortimer 09-09-2008 08:56 PM

Besides sissy Dannie.

when i start criticizing your lack of knowledge, as you did me, then feel free to correct my sloppy typing.

it's not 'my' blog btw. i just saw it the first time when it came up on that search. i was looking for the other article, with obamas 'taken out of context' quotes that i was looking for. but i went in order, kansas was ahead of la, which was ahead of minnesota. but i'm sure you knew that.

funny tho, i wasn't a panderer waaaay back in the thread when i posted other things that you probably agreed with. funny how that works.
kind of like now, with scuds, i'm a neck again.

c'mon scuds, you're slipping. all these pages and no 'annie oakley' yet??

geeker2 09-09-2008 08:59 PM

did you ever find out if he was a she or she was a she or...

oh, obviously. i see. thanks for being around to put me in my place, i appreciate it. are you this snotty towards everyone, or just when they disagree with your POV?

Mortimer 09-09-2008 09:00 PM

Dannie and I are actually here together at her place.

I'm sitting right next to her. Keep making her mad....she looks really hot when she's mad and then she wraps her leg around mine.

Mortimer 09-09-2008 09:02 PM

She also thinks it's raining again.

She's nuts...but cute.

i would say that telling me not to 'pass off' something is the same as 'calling it'. or is that taken out of context?

Do you realize that from 1980 to 2006 median Wages, adjusted for inflation, had only risen 10k? Do you realize in the 26 years prior, wages had almost DOUBLED?

If the middle class is living far greater, it is purely on credit. HMMMMM...I wonder if we have a credit problem going on right now?

Yeah people who spend beyond their means using credit are victims...

And this is a good plan? Families making over 250k are now considered rich? Capital gains taxes are good? The AMT is good? And you call yourself a capitalist? I'm sure you thought the John Brunetti Hialeah takeout "plan" was a good one too.

Over 30 years? Our credit situation didnt happen overnight GPK and the disparity in classes didnt happen overnight either. It comes from being stuck in Reaganomics for 20 of 28 years.

Look at the times when our economy was best? Strong middle class! keynesian theory is what we were built on.

Yes, I would consider NAFTA a massive bungle and yes Clinton can own much of it.

So is it too much to ask for people to live within their means...be it for 2 years or 100 years. At some point in time, people have to take personal responsibility for choosing to live like that. Is that asking too much?

Has it ever occured to you that both of them have profited tremendously due to these trade agreements? And if so, why are you so passionate about your party?

AMT is GOOD. I can tell you from experience that if not for AMT my effective tax rate would be about _____. And the rich can say the same thing.

Capital gains taxes arent good but necessary.

Do you question Warren Buffet's capitalist nature? He is in favor of these tax policies.

Families making over 250k arent rich but have you done the math on how much added burden a 250k family would have to take on?

No its not. But GPK, do you have kids? Try living on the median household income with a family of four in most metro cities I see these people every day. Many of them are just struggling to get by.

If you don't have kids, do the math. It will really sober you.
