How much more do you want to brag about seeing Pearl Jam play a killer set in a tiny venue?

Enough already.

Should I start blabbing about how great it was tonight to see Motley Crue play a whole 1 hour and 20 minute set? The great thing though was all the chicks there were the same ones who went to see them in the 80's....and now these chicks are like 60. Nothing like seeing 60 yr old chicks wearing tight clothes in 85 degree humidity. I shoulda got DrugS a ticket...even he woulda had a shot of getting some a$$.

Jeremy Rose's whipping suspension cut in half

Quote:

The Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission today cut jockey Jeremy Rose's suspension from six months to three months in the wake of a horse whipping incident June 23 at Delaware Park.

The commission had suspended Rose for extreme misuse of the whip against the mare Appeal to the City. Video showed Rose whipping the horse in the face as she came down the stretch to a third-place finish. Rose said the he accidentally struck Appeal to the City in the face and eye.

i'd have rather he spent the full time, rather than paying a fine and getting half the days.
not his first whip incident. hopefully his last involving a horse and their sight however!

It's kind of gone unnoticed, but Jeremy Rose is back to riding and is winning at a 30 percent clip up at Philly in close to 150 starts. I hope he's learned his lesson.
