Cat, you can get lots of good plays from that guy.......he burned Keeneland down the last weekend. I'm sure you remember.

Oh yeah, I played a couple of his picks and did ok... I need to remember to "listen" when he posts...

I'm listening now :o

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 07:53 PM

Holy cow! What's up with the 7's bullet last Thursday, 4f in :46 -- that's California fast!

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 07:55 PM

sorry for the chime in guys ...carry on.. the next race looks to be 7/2 the price that ill give his last in the mud a toss..they take it to turfway to train....gets ok rider and the inside..7/2/3/6...tri box ..

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 08:04 PM

There is just so much early speed in this race, I don't think anyone is going to shake loose here... I agree with Hooves on the 7 (with Ozzie aboard - Oops, No Ozzie ) and the 2,3,6 is good under...

In Hooves We Trust!

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 08:06 PM

dont trust too much..tha mountain isnt my thing.. but i think the 2 has upside,,

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 08:12 PM

2 looked good for a while... I think the 7 forgot how to race around an oval, seemed to keep wanting to go to the right on the straightaway...

on to the 7th race!

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 08:24 PM

I like the 1 in the 7th... hopefully the horse is ready off the layoff.

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 08:25 PM

the 1 no s 2 back could win it..the 3 runs well every other race..the six on the str out...every time the 9 comes back to the mtn hes run well

so 1,3,6,9.box ill sub the 6 and the 10 on one ticket

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 08:26 PM

where is gpkkkkkkkkk

MinnSkinny 12-05-2006 08:30 PM

I think he went to get Sarah...................

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 08:32 PM

i told that fool...ya need your pup...dusted..the 7 ran in a stake ...oops i missed that...

MinnSkinny 12-05-2006 08:36 PM

G'nite all, maybe Saturday..................

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-05-2006 08:40 PM

whats the hold up???

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 09:07 PM

Looks like it isn't going to matter, I think they're done for the night... I think the jocks are complaining about the track again... remember when they cancelled races earlier in the season to work on the track... minor league tracks

This kind of stuff never happens at Bay Meadows :D

saucon17 12-05-2006 09:08 PM

They're waiting for GPK

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 09:10 PM

Hooves, do you look at Aquaduct? If so, what do you think of Gem Road tomorrow in the 9th? The horse is on my watch list but I'm not sure if she's a play tomorrow

Yea! He must be back!

He must have gotten out from under the table where Sarah was hiding :D

saucon17 12-05-2006 09:15 PM

They run 7 races and now they I have problem with track condition.
Looks like a couple jockeys might be refusing to ride and they can't
find riders for these horses

Looks like Ozzie doesn't want to ride... that's not a good sign :(

Thanks for the input... I agree with the 4 - - the 11? Interesting...

DerbyCat 12-05-2006 09:40 PM

What the H*LL Mountaineer - one minute I'm listening to Mark & Nancy chat about the upcoming race then "Attention, the 9th race has been cancelled" and they shut everything down... not even a polite "good night"... Bush League

saucon17 12-05-2006 09:50 PM

I guess they had no choice after the #10 broke down in the 8th race.
May that horse RIP. I just hope Maureen Andrews is not badly hurt

docicu3 12-05-2006 09:51 PM

so what was the reason for this...

I actually liked how the race was setting up.......why did they cancel with 8 minutes to post???

Any thoughts Mountain royalty?

They say she walked off to the jock room on her own...

I love this track but I hate the condition of it... can they not afford to pay a good superintendant to maintain the track? They've got to be making good $$$ from the slots.

On another note - why is Villa-Gomez not riding? Does he think the track is too crappy to ride on?
