Giving Nero some extra credit, when he felt/heard/saw Beautiful Shot coming at him on the inside he got to running again.......he's a nice Colt.
On the head on you can see Nero kind of looking at the grandstand(I think it was the grandstand that caught his interest),I would imagine that might of had something to do with his off/on run.
Perhaps if Garcia would of kept his mind on business,he wouldn't of got to looking around.......not sure.
Garcia doesn't make many mistakes as a rule of thumb,I'll be curious if he keeps the Nero mount........I think he will.
And how about the winner ?
Beautiful Shot was as absolutely as green as a snake,he had no clue what the heck he was doing.........and still got the win.
The pan shows some of went on with Beautiful Shot, but the head on is something to behold...........Beautiful Shot is loaded with talent.

Highly unlikely he ever gets near that horse. The horse straight up lost because of him.

Coolmore /Stonestreet ownership.
I wouldn't take him off.........but I think I'm probably wrong.

I would imagine there is a change as well, usually I say these things are a bit unfair but in this case its probably warranted.

Seems like the chart caller had different thoughts: DRF NERO dueled inside, inched away on the turn, kicked clear, came a bit off the rail in the stretch, remained clear understeady
handling in deep stretch then vigorous handling late but could not hold off the winner

I see they are still using graduates from the Braille Institute for chart callers.

He stopped riding. Very early.... the race caller points out how confident Garcia was riding him. He also never saw the 12 then when he did he starts riding and the horse is so good he almost comes back.
