well, Im more concerned with my body fat percentage than I am with weight. i try to keep it is low as I can. there is one thing that we only get one of, and that is our body. i try to make it as perfect as possible. im obviously not a body builder, but I do have a clear vision of what I want my body to be. I run 50 miles a week and do push ups and sit ups every day in pursuit of this. Im not recommending my lifestyle to anyone else and Im not saying its all that well rounded of a physical routine. But it works for me, that much I do know. Ive got stamina to burn. when I run 15 miles, my 12th mile is as fast as my 2nd. Repent |

it does. im not one of those guy that would benefit greatly from heavy weight training. so I go the opposite direction and focus on lean muscle. when I was younger, I never had tremendous leg speed so bulking up and developing a quick muscle action was not really an option. so I made the decision to develop myself into a long distance runner and that type of athlete needs to be leaner with a more fluid stride. its the same difference we see btwn quarter horses and thoroughbreds. I was never going to be Wave Carver if you know what i mean. Repent |

We got the same frame man... I'm like 5'11", and I deviate between 140 and 150... I try to work out, but laziness does creep in a lot. But I work a couple of jobs (which are more on the active side, not really desk-related) so that helps a little bit. I eat like crazy, and I eat before I go to sleep, so that doesn't help much for definition. But in terms of gaining weight, it's super hard. I seriously eat like a pig and I eat the most unhealthy ****, but I still don't gain a pound.... at least yet hehe. The lifestyle will prolly catch up to me eventually. The funny thing is, I'm 25 now... but when I was 18 or 19, that first year I went to school. I went to school in South Dakota. I didn't work, and I didn't do **** except homework, watch tv, and eat fast food. I somehow inflated to 170 lbs in that same thin frame... God I was such a fat ass! I mean for my thin frame, I seriously was FAT! But then I went home that summer, and worked, and I just naturally lost the weight by working again and working out a lil bit (like playing pickup bball games, tennis, etc). But with the active jobs I work now... I keep the weight pretty consistent. I need to do what you do though- actually work out more to gain definintion. I'm just wondering how much weight maybe I'd lose doing it. The last time I consitently worked out I dropped down to 134 at one point (that was just about a year ago). I couldn't believe it. Between working a warehouse job (very physically active) and working out- I just naturally dropped the weight... |

see unfortunately I pretty much do have a desk job so any physical activity I get I have to purposely initiate. my metabolism sucks. i could put on 10 lbs in a matter of weeks just by stopping my exercise routine. exercising for me is addictive. Im compulsive in a lot of ways(if you have ever seen the Aviator, thats me) and I have to exercise or i get really restless. I wish I had a job where I could be somewhat active. I want to hit a huge pick 6 someday, retire to Colorado and work part time as a mountain bike guide or something. that would be the life............. Repent |
haha if you hit a huge pick 6 your compulsive side would take you to the track more often lol... jk
I hope it wouldn't... Yeah I have one active warehouse job- well physical spurts combo'd with sitting around, and a desk job... Add in a cold-ass'd winter where your motivations to go outside for the next 6 months will be zero-none... it'll be interesting to see how I inflate... It'll definately put my metabolism to the test. If you do hit the pick 6... send a lil my way... I'll buy either Burger King or Slim Fast with it... whichever I need more of lol |

I'm 5'4 496lbs. I had to order one of those keyboards for people with obese fingers. It was getting to the point where I couldn't communicate online with my friends. You can imagine how embarrassing it was to realise I needed help.
EDIT: Typing. I needed help typing. *eats donut* |
I've heard that tummy tuck/tummy staple works wonders... look what it did for Jon Popper, Sharon Osbourne, Roseanne Barr, and Baletto lol.
