What are trumps plans? On the economy, foreign affairs, taxes, spending?

But I do know one thing I am really liking......the kochs and those like them have been marginalized so far in this race. Would love for it to stay that way.

i know citizens united was a way to open the floodgates. but, thankfully, superpacs cannot work with campaigns, can't pay campaign employees, etc. so far it hasn't been as bad as once feared.
now, lobbying-that is the spigot needing shutting off. don't call it what it is, bribery. that would give it negative connotations!

That was one of the most disgusting decisions the Supreme Court (in particular the right wing Justices of course) has made. I would hope if a democrat stays in the oval office they will appoint the next justices and get that corrupt decision overturned! Ole Williard Romney not only got caught on video spouting about 47 %, he was also caught saying the bullspit that is " CORPORATIONS ARE PEOPLE MY FRIEND" WRONG nor is SPEECH MONEY! Citizens United has got to go period!

I just saw The Big Short yesterday. While I did, prior to seeing the film, understand how the financial crisis of 2008 went down, being reminded of it was not good for my blood pressure. It also made me despair. I don't think there's any way, short of a rehash of the 1930s, complete with being being shot by police during labor strikes, of the working or middle class getting anything back that the rich have taken from them in the past 40 years.

That said, it's a good movie. Go see it. And then take a lot of deep breaths after.

I recommend you also read the book to get more details and nuance on what happened.

What are trumps plans? On the economy, foreign affairs, taxes, spending?
The exact opposite of the last 7 years should be a good start " george costanza theory "

Opposite that a President Trump (does that sound good or what?) might do:

Lower (rather than raise) the taxes.
Protect (rather than attack) the 2nd Amendment.
Increase (rather than decrease) our military preparedness and armed services enrollment.
Publicly praise (rather than apologize for) America's leadership since World War II.
Support, protect and defend (rather than try to circumvent) the Constitution of the United States.
Identify (rather than refuse to identify) the scourge of Islamic Terrorism.
Discard (rather than use) the language of Political Correctness.
Expand (rather than close) Guantanamo Bay detention facility for terrorists.

Heck, those are just some easy ones... basically you are correct. If Obama was simply ineffective, he'd be a zero.

As it is, he is a negative. Americans are less secure as a result of his being elected.

He is the opposite of what we need. He is Neville Chamberlain when Winston Churchill is needed. Formerly that was to fight Hitler. Now it is to fight ISIS.

No, not what you think it might be....what has trump released so far? What are his plans? How will he put those plans into action?
What specifically has he said?

So tired of the them vs us attitude! Who are they? Who are we? Teds remarks about NY values is on par with that idiot huckabees bubbaville vs bubbleville. And just as full of bs.
Most people in this country, IMO, want similar things. To live their life in a prosperous and peaceful place. They might take different roads to get there, but doesn't everyone pretty much wish to live their life as they choose?

It's professional wrestling - babyface turned heel to shore up NY.

The REP's didn't have a chance on carrying the state in general election.

It's a foregone conclusion that:

a. Cruz definitely would not have carried NY if he is the nominee, even before the comments, so literally it was a throw away line - cost him nothing.

b. By making Trump look like the hero and savior of NY'ers and their values, he not only galvanizes the REP base there, but sways Independents and right leaning DEM's toward a guy that defends their very core. A guy that not only represents, but embodies THEM.

NY - which was a slam-dunk for Hilary, is now VERY much in play with a Trump candidacy.

I'd say it is a brilliantly innovative scheme, but Vince McManon has been doing this for years. And it is amazingly effective.

Losing by 6000 votes in a state chock-full of religious lunatics, where Cruz drew 77% of the evangelical vote is a Bi*** Slapping?

Two weeks ago Nate Silver had this at 31% Cruz, 26% Trump, 15% Rubio.

If anything, Rubio eroded Cruz's base. Trump never expected to win there, and the ONLY relevant aspect of IA is that now the MSM has their latest establishment lackey to put over. Cruz is toast.

Kicking dirt on Trump's grave may be a bit premature.
