on wp "points"?

Cause they're not playing 'live' money?

Awesome news!

Good luck, gentlemen.

dpkovalesky 01-24-2015 11:22 AM

just a very goofy day 1, the only cap horses were way over the cap 50,60-1. Its really just turned into a sprint for home today. Even guys in the top 10 need a few winners just to keep in the top 50. Figuring $150-$160 to make the cut.

GL to everyone!

I can say the same as Jim. I had my chances today and made some really poor choices that cost me the chance to get within the top 50. But this is my first live tournament and I learned a ton over the last two days which will hopefully make me better the next time I get here.

It has been an absolutely incredible experience and a real pleasure meeting the DT crew. Hopefully we can all get back next year, get some more DTer's here, and do more damage! Regardless of the results today, I appreciate the well wishes, hope to do damage in the consolation tournament tomorrow but no one comes out of here a loser!

I agree with Nick and Jim, this has been an incredible experience...one that I can only hope to experience again. Watching the pro Old Time Hockey almost win needing one more jump and the Bird on a Wire come from from off the pace to win....meeting Nick/Jim and of course Steve......i will definitely not be leaving here a loser. :tro:
Sunday provides another chance!!

FINAL TABLE MANDATORY DRF PP'S

jms62 01-25-2015 03:00 PM

My take away is if you like something at 10-15/1 morning line and he goes off at 9-1 it isnt a reason to abandon the play. I tossed 3 winners in the $20 buck range Fri with the delusional thinking that I needed to use every Optional play on a Capper eligible horse. Needless to say I was an astounding 0-14 on my optionals. A red hot craps table on Sat night removes some of the sting ;)

Kasept 01-25-2015 04:12 PM

I hope you killed 'em. The only casino game to play, and my leak for sure, but nothing compares to a red hot roll. Glad to hear it eased the pain....

Gotta love the O'Neills :D

Pants II 01-25-2015 11:33 PM

I'm proud of the whole crew. It's an absolutely wonderful contest that needs to be promoted.

I don't know the expense particulars but it doesn't seem like a live webcast of the event would be that expensive.

Didn't get to watch any racing Saturday and Sunday but didn't notice any coverage by hrtv or tvg on Friday.

Being stuck in Vegas while the Northeast is in a blizzard. Oh the humanity.

:tro::tro::tro::tro:

jnunan4759 01-25-2015 11:56 PM

Liked the coverage Steve, was fun. Think the guests had fun too. I thought it was great and interesting and worth doing. I'd like to see you do it again next year. My only issue, and it's not part of your broadcast, is that we'd like to see leaderboards and wagers online, maybe from NTRA. That would make more interest and people could follow along better in real-time. See the board changes and know who won and lost as the races go.

But your broadcast definitely added to the fun and interest. Well done, as usual.

I think, if you could, stay there for a few days. We're getting some serious snow on Monday.

Only to give 200 back betting the over (68) on the Pro Bowl. What kind of degenerate bets the pro Bowl?

Thank Knicks. . Caught the absolute last flight to NY area this morning AT 7 and just walked in the door. What a great time and something to build on.
