i read earlier where cheney was rewriting history, explaing how russia invaded georgia after bush was out of office.
that would be wrong. |

A book I read a few years back outlines Russia's invasion and the discussions following within the Bush administration and Cheney was a part of it. Think the title was A Little War that Shook the World or something like that. BTW Russia's invasion of Crimea without bloodshed or violence was the direct opposite of what happened in Soviet Georgia probably because unlike the Crimean's, the Georgian's did not want the Russians. |

I think we should go to war.
Otherwise our votes in 2 elections for a hardass will have gone to waste. Americans knew in 2008 and 2012 we were voting for someone who wouldn't be a wretched softie like Bush. We voted for someone who would stride pridefully across the globe flexing his muscles. Putin rides a grizzly bare chested. Obama must ride the eagle naked. |
BTW: I'm just exhausted from the whole lower case persona. It's over in case anyone cared.

But that's why I called BS. What was Obama's reaction to the invasion, or was that when he was being awarded the nobel piece of shiat peace prize? |
Let's use this as an example.
Surely we 'Americans' can agree that Senior Citizens pensions and deductions ie. Social Security should not be used to finance/back the Ukraine promise of a billion or anything other than SS? So just dedicate all future SS deductions be used for nothing other than SS payments or the account. In other words put it in not a lock box but in another f'n account. |
Must say the Obama promise of 'dire consequences' was swift...

An example of 'Free Minds' at work "a husband can have sex with his wife regardless of her consent. The bill also prevents women from leaving the house without their husband's permission, would restrict women's rights in matters of parental custody after divorce and make it easier for men to take multiple wives." |

i'm curious to know exactly what joey thinks obama could have done, or should have done, that hasn't been done in regards to crimea and russia?
joey, what should we do as a nation? what should obama do as president? what would the proper responses to these actions be? |
Maybe Obama should do something other than saying "There will be consequences" followed by ... nothing.
In other words - if we're not going to do anything about it, don't rattle the sabre. That was the worst thing (barring being stupid enough to go to war with Russia, which thankfully he has not shown he is capable of yet) that he could have done. He did the same thing regarding Syria and ironically it was Putin who bailed him out by brokering a "deal" regarding chemical weapons. Whether the deal was ever going to work was immaterial - he was embarassing the nation with his repeated "don't cross the red line" and then - once again - nothing. |

Even though he stated if the line was crossed Assad had to go as well as all the weapons. Wonder if when Barack tells his children to brush their teeth and go to bed he's happy with the mother in law taking over and telling them to use mouthwash and go to bed before the sun comes up. :zz: |

at any rate, what should have been said? what should be done? or you can just admit that it wouldn't matter what obama says and does, it would be wrong and subject to criticism. |

It isn't Joey's fault. You've got to know when to gin up your base and when to let them cool their jets. He's just reacting to stimuli. |

Stop lying to America about creating serious consequences for Russia. The gullible including Danzig believe freezing non-existent bank accounts and visas have negatively affected people holding those non-existent accounts. Hint: Putin suggested putting the same restrictions on John McCain and Dick Durbin and unlike their Russian counterparts it didn't seem to bring any serious consequences instead it brought 'laughs' from McCain and 'honor' to Durbin. |
