Alcazar (Uruguay), who just won the Gran Premio Jose Pedro Ramirez... |
I am so pumped up for the carnival. I'm expecting virtually ever race to be won buy either Michael de Kock or some Godolphin juiced horse that isnt tested for drugs.
So excited to see Mendip how many races you figure he will run during the Carnival? 7? All without DRUGS right? Can I get an update on Tam Lim? Are any sandstorms in the forecast? Any camel racing scheduled? Will Pat be doing the handicapping of the Camels? Rumor has it that Steve Byk is going to convert Caroline bbq to Hallal ABU BBQ. Hey it's a living.. "GET YOUR BBQ GOAT...NO SAND" |
Someone kiss the fat little frog.
Will you get a printh? Or will you get warts? Either way, Lossy couldn't be far behind....kiss at your own peril, if you have the guts. |
I didn't know they were even considering sending Orfevre over but good! They're not. :tro:

... and on the other one, Better Be the One... for anyone who doesn't know he's a star of Singapore. Record is 6-2-3 from 12.
He just won yesterday (to be fair this field wasn't exactly on his level. He usually faces a lot tougher)... very nice horse. All his replays are here (same for any of the Singapore kids). (Drop down menu under racing information, horse performance and it will take you there). http://www.turfclub.com.sg/RacingInf...TER+BE+THE+ONE |

THE Singapore superstar is Rocket Man. A star is Better Than Ever, BBTO, Gingerbread Man... Just mentioning him cause he's going. Relax! You don't have to play him but for anyone who wants to see who he is and his replays... * * * edit Looks like Captain Obvious runs in R5 on Friday (!) |
Black Caviar has been nominated, whether she goes or not is another question.

http://www.bellingencourier.com.au/n...d/2423451.aspx ... and as Black Caviar is likely to equal that number in three runs in Melbourne over the next six weeks, one more run in Sydney this campaign would be considered before she goes to England for the Royal Ascot in June. |

first race at MayDOG 9 10 all 10 9 all Spirt of battle and Kryrton Factor
|
This next race is raced for 120k. I think it is the equivalent of a 10 claimer at Aqueduct today. BBQ Eddie and the Butcher Boratstan in the same race can you make this up. I will bet pig As De Trebol.
MMSC you think they find all good safe homes for these 11 year old gelding that retire in Dubai? |

I have no idea what they do with them in Dubai. Maybe someone who actually goes there could answer. The only old men I try to keep track of in my many lists in my head are the elderly gentlemen of Hong Kong some of which have become horsies for cops, for school programs, etc. A lot get to go home to Aus and NZ. I think they're the lucky ones. There is the occassional one with the nutty owner like poor Good Ba Ba who was Horse of the Year for God sake but that creep sent him from trainer to trainer cause he was in la la land about him losing form. Now he's in Macau and racing people in other places are pretty distressed and tryhing to get it so he can NOT race any more. So yeah... I don't know, I don't really follow Dubai much. |
