Beaten by a sophomore QB.

Is it time for Yoda (Belicheck) to retire?

Sick of the Steelers. No one outside of Pittsburgh and the bandwagon wants to see them in the Super Bowl.

Well it's not good for the league to have a team that's known for having two famous retarded quarterbacks.

jms62 01-17-2011 09:57 AM

Based on my Buffalo Bills baramoter it will be Jets vs Packers.

Coach Pants 01-17-2011 09:59 AM

Jets or Steelers win the Super Bowl.

NFC is garbage.

Pretty much agree, but I personally think that at least the Packers could make it a game. I have absolutely zero faith in Da Bears and are dreading if they should make it to the big game.

Overall the AFC is a lot stronger than NFC, but considering both the Bears and Packers beat the Jets this year and the Jets beat Pitt...not sure how any match up in SB will be a mismatch.

He's playing well but it's not like the Eagles are some awesome team...unless you agree with the ESPN dic.krider bandwagon. And the Falcons? MATTY ICE handed the Packers the game right before halftime. That was probably a top 3 all-time worst pass in a playoff game.

The Steelers and Jets have the big boy defenses.

Jets seem to be the team of destiny this year. They won a number of games in which they were beat and needed near miraculous comebacks.

Packers/Jets?

I don't think the Packers can play any better than they did on Halloween. The Jets can.

Packers/Steelers

This is the match-up the Packers want.

Bears/Jets?

Would be a good match-up. Probably a field goal battle.

Bears/Steelers

I'm asleep by halftime. Worst Super Bowl ever.

Bears are the team of destiny. Starting from the Calvin Johnson TD reversal on opening day, they have run into more third string QBs and benefited from Vikes beating Philly to Seattle beating NO. The only reason why I was confident that GB would beat Atlanta was because it meant homefield next week for the Bears.

Guaranteed Rodgers will hit a deer on his way to practice and miss the game.

The Jets played very well yesterday. I would think that the most important thing coming out of that game is that they seemed to find their pass rush.

I'm looking forward to next weeks, what should be a war against the Steelers.

As far as the NFC goes, I just think that the Pack are peaking at the right time.

The Bears have been beyond fortunate this year. If both teams play their best game, the Bears don't beat the Packers. But as someone mentioned earlier, knowing the Bears good fortunes so far this season, Rodgers will trip over his dog and fall down the stairs and Clay Matthews will accidentally get hit by a grand piano or something.

By the by, nobody has been ravaged by injuries like the Packers this year, and yet they're still ticking. I'm impressed.

The Bart Scott interview.

:tro::tro:

Dahoss 01-17-2011 12:05 PM

Bart Scott is great. I have to laugh at Deion Branch. He was barking all game long at anyone and everyone he could (including Rex Ryan). However, when the time came he dropped a pass on 4th down and then after the game whined? What a sissy.

Easy Now. Enjoy Sat's win and this whole week. Packers/Bears NFC Championship, what could be better. Oh yeah seeing Cutler on the bench crying on Sunday. Can't wait.

"We have something to look forward to -- next season. You can't dwell on one year," Branch said. "The season didn't end the way we wanted it to end. But once we look at it, we still have a lot of stuff to hang our hats on.

the jets played their championship against NE. the last time they faced Pitts. without #43 on defense and aaron smith MIGHT be ready for some snaps. jets will see a different steeler defense.

the pack has played well 2 straight weeks and cutler is due to go bonehead.

I thought about it for a second about them having a possible letdown/hangover after beating the Pats, but dismissed that thought pretty quickly. I think there is a very slim chance of that happening and they will be bringing their A game to Pittsburgh next week.
As a football fan I'm looking very forward to that game.

You'll never convince a Steeler fan that a lowly franchise like the Jets could possibly out-lunchpail THE GRITTIEST FRANCHISE IN NFL HISTORY. Fu ck them. They do things the RIGHT WAY! Like keeping a rapist quarterback and letting Holmes go for smoking weed. How's that one looking now? And Cedric Wilson goes bye-bye for domestic abuse, but Harrison is kept on and even defended by Rooney for the same thing. 45 billion fans across the country for a team from a city with a population of 300,000. They've had enough success and have the bandwagon fans to prove it. It's our turn.

The same guys that ALL predicted the Eagles were in a rebuilding year and wouldn't sniff the playoffs, let alone the division? Reid (and Belichick) took a 'rebuilding' year and made it into something.. (a #3 seed and #1 seed respectively.)

Mike n Mike in the morning wwouldnt let me on a few weeks back bc they feared for Marcellus Wiley's reputation. They would still be in surgery on the a$$ ripping I wouldve given him. 4-12 for my Birds? ALL those dim-wit experts can kiss the d!ck as a matter of fact.

You are right ,they are all d ickriders. Only from week 4 or 5 on when the team showed some life. Until then, they were still over the Giants and worried about the Cowboys ever waking up. Lets not twist it up and have everyone think that the Eagles were on everybody's radar this year before play started.

When Michael Vick took over the dic.kriding began because ESPN has an agenda.

So sayeth the Celtic fan. The cognitive dissonance is astounding to say the least. A fan of both New York and Boston teams simultaneously really shouldn't be saying "our". That's what makes our country great I guess so J-E-T-S...go NEW ENGLAND ALL AT ONCE!! yeah, once a month is all I need.

I'm not a Celtic fan because they're good. It's because of my favorite player getting dicked over by his original franchise that I had no other connection to. You know that and I've admitted as much and it doesn't even come close to my love for the Jets. I don't give two sh its about Boston the city or the fans. So, as always, blow it out your bitter bipolar ass.

I can say 'our' all I want you haughty douchebag. I've been a Jet fan through thick and thin and anybody that knows me in real life or from the ESPN board can attest to that.

nebrady 01-20-2011 11:46 AM

My quote came true so whats your point! lol

Lets see the pats did beat both bears and packers, won afc east and brady is gonna be mvp! So whats your point! Yes they lose to the jets, but there is always next year. As much as you people said the pats were rebuilding, they went out and went 14-2 with one of the youngest defenses in the league. So I'll say it now pats win afc east again next year! Kudos to brady who not once complained about the stress fracture and had an mvp year. All you haters of the pats get use to them being a top organization for a long time. Go steeelers!

Sure they did do some very good things this year, but the bottom line is that the season is a failure. They could win the AFC east for the next ten years, but it all means nothing if they keep losing playoff games at home.
