you can't goodell has to impose penaltiies for all of this , i'm a jet fan , and in my heart i know the colts s/b 16-0 , but , their not , they coaches / gm pulled players and should be ashamed .....if they hadn't won a few yrs ago i could see it , but they got a super bowl 3 yrs ago .....play the starters and go for history the worst thing to do is to pick who gets in and who doesn't .....the colts and bengals both picked who got into that 6th seed and wouldn't it be ironic if the jets beat them both again |

There is nothing that can be done about this situation. You just have to have that your club takes care of buisness early in the season and they are in the position to do what they want. |

Gales 1 and done, the Bengals will crush them. |

Rex didn't sound too optimistic about DH, which is a shame. This is why I can't buy any of this "tainted" or "lucky" nonsense about the Jets' playoff berth when we might enter the playoffs without three of our four best players. Name ONE other team in the playoffs that lost the kind of impact players the Jets have lost and still made it. There isn't one. If any other team had Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington go down midseason, they would've spit the bit.

I take back everything I said in this thread jet fans. I was wrong, you were right.
Gales, randall and Ateam-congrats! |

apology accepted , please root us home we are long suffering fans of gang green i still get nightmares in my sleep over the roughing the passer play in the '86 playoffs when gastineau salmmed kosar to the turf at the old cleveland stadium , that one still stings as i think theu would have gone on and beat denver and then played the giants in the super bowl |

You guys play Minny next year so it will be Favre vs Pack twice and Favre vs Jets once if he come back again. |

But the #1 reason? Sanchez is willing to throw 12-16 passes a game. Favre's ego is way too big to sit back and watch his team run 57 times a game. As much as I dislike Schottenheimer, I feel like he was handcuffed by having to install a pass-happy offense last year to satisfy the cumslinger. Because of Sanchez's development and maturity, he's willing to defer to the running game, and that's the most important thing a QB can do in this system right now. I'd rather have a QB throw for 100 yards and make no mistakes than the forced passes Favre would give us with our running game and defense (GET WELL DAVID HARRIS, UGH). |

I'm not really that attracted to Tila Tiquila. Good Luck Jets... If you dont get it this year you guys will be TOUGH next year and the year after. Go Buddy Ryan's son! |

They are built to win now and the only thing that might hold them up is the QB. |

Oh, and it is the Sanchez/Ryan combo that cost them four games, Ryan individually didn't cost them four. Sure Sanchez was mostly responsible for the loss to the Bills but Ryan also shares some responsibility for letting his team thrown six interceptions and losing the game when they were running down the Bills throat all day. |
