Im not going to make any calls for the season but that was no fluke last night. Outside of Jenkins, they were getting blown off the ball. That Dolphin line is one of the best run blocking lines in the NFL.

the Jets are a pretty good team but when Miami beats New orleans in 2 weeks we will revisit NYJ vs MIA again. As a matter of fact if Tony Soprano hadnt fcked up the colts game where Miami outplayed Indy, the Dolphins would be in control of the division.

Colorado Rockies have done enough

I agree there is no way Miami should have lost that Colts game. that was unreal. Kinda like this past Saturday..

Like I said, if Cotchery plays last night, it's a different game. Sanchez was looking for the underneath routes all game and no one could get open. He had to force the ball deep to Braylon, who, for the haters in here, made some terrific catches. As much as the defense let us down, it's beautiful to see the Jets finally have a deep passing game.

That wildcat knuckleball nonsense isn't going to go over as well in the Meadowlands, I promise.

Crotchery is a non factor and you know it.

Your defense is OVERRATED!!! But hey it was fun while it lasted!!!

Even Pat White bitched them out.

Miami's secondary is shaky otherwise you were looking at 35-10

dalakhani 10-13-2009 02:02 PM

For as much pressure as new york puts out, they dont create many sacks.

You can't possibly believe this. He's a goddam perennial 1,000-yard receiver and our only good option for quick slants and underneath routes.

That would be once in 5 years. If he wasnt such a ***** he would have played.

Cannon Shell 10-13-2009 03:05 PM

Oops my bad. HE PLAYED!

 his three years as a starter:

82 for 961
82 for 1,130
71 for 858

This year in four games:

23 for 355

Yeah, total non-factor.

MISTERGEE 10-13-2009 04:11 PM

if crotchery didnt play how did he catch a pass last night?

He tried to make a go of it but came out in the first quarter and didn't return.

once is not perennial. He is a second tier guy. He doesnt play defense either. That was where your guys had trouble last night.

A-Team, When are they expecting Lito back? I ask this only because of the trade's stipulations.

No fking clue. He and Strickland have been supposed to play for three straight weeks now and we still haven't seen either of them. Seems like you'd have to ask Lito himself to get a straight answer. It's getting to be like the Jose Reyes situation at this point.

Also: I was wrong, Cotchery did come back into the game, but he was hobbled all night.

I'll bet anybody on the board a grand that the Jets won't lose in the next three weeks. F-a-g-s. Poser ass chumps.

Good thing, no one took you up on that offer Joseph.

Crown@club 10-22-2009 01:41 PM

Ut-oh!

"Jet QB Mark Sanchez is so lost right now; he is not getting a clear
picture. He falls away from his throws. He looks afraid to take on
contact. He was the reason they lost that game. His arm strength was an
issue in shaky weather, and it’s October. That’s a major problem."

ateamstupid 10-22-2009 05:38 PM

My drunken rant aside, through two games Braylon looks like the best acquisition the Jets have made this decade. His positive effect on the running game was evident on Sunday. If Cotchery ever comes back and pretty boy stops pissing himself when the mercury drops below 60, we'll be in business.

So was it worth the sacrifice of the special teams?

Absolutely. Their special teams is still one of the best in the league, they just lost their minds yesterday and let that failure get to the edge twice. They'd better back up the Brinks truck for Braylon in the offseason. He's a beast and is integral to the future success of the Sanchise.

MISTERGEE 11-02-2009 02:34 PM

temp was in the 50's too

Braylon Edwards s#cks. He is burning free agent $$$ with every game.

He dropped an underthrown TD pass, big deal. After that he made a great leaping catch at the sideline at 3rd & 13, then turned a 5-yard dumpoff pass into a TD. I'll take the good with the bad.

He is a fantasy bust! That I can tell you...
