Don't mean to past post, but I just got home from the track in time to catch that Belmont race and had Jazzy in the Pick 4.

Am alive to the 9 & 10.

Do I get screwed because of the surface change??

Beyerwise. Her best lifetime grass race was a Belmont. Her only yielding race showing was a good second in a 100k stake.

I still don't think I would've had her if I was 6 deep.

You are already a winner to both and you are going to get a pretty nice pay here as I don't think Jazzy was on too many tickets.

You get $147 for each dollar you have on each horse.

  Kinda feel cheated..

Pick 3 came back more than that.

Does that mean that Jazzy was on more pick 4 tix than pick 3 tix?

Are you talking about the P3 will pays? The last race is not a free square in the pick 3's. The will pays are different for each horse in the 10th.

pointman 07-03-2009 04:36 PM

Is it me or are the 3,4,10 overlays on the surface change and the 9 a tremendous underlay at 3-2?

I mean the Pick 3 that ended with Jazzy came back $185 for a buck, but the Pick 4 with all in the 10th comes back $147.

I see. I can't explain that one.

Nick, I like the 3 a little bit.

pointman 07-03-2009 04:47 PM

Belmont 10th

$20W 3 - just may go right down the pike and never look back
$10EXB 3,7
$1 SB 3,4,7,10

Good Luck, I am taking my chances against what looks to me to be a very vulnerable favorite on this surface!

I will take my chances at what looks to me to be an overlaid 13-1 on a horse that my not get pushed on the lead and the track usually gets a bit speed favoring with the muddy condition, maybe can salvage something here. Good Luck!

Good Luck with this Bigs. The best I could do was narrow it down to $1,080 ticket which I am not willing to punch and I don't think will get the job done. If I was willing to spend that money, I would go:

3- 4,5,6,8,12
4- 4,5,7
5- 4,7
6- 1,3,10
7- 3,11
8- 5,10,12

pointman 07-03-2009 09:52 PM

Hollywood 3rd

$20W 4
$20DD 4/4

Good Luck!

cowgirlintexas 07-03-2009 10:08 PM

Wow!!

Did'nt think the 2 (Gallant Gent) was gonna get there after that start and trip...

herkhorse 07-03-2009 10:09 PM

Wow, how good was that horse?

Good luck the rest of the way, leaving for the airport in 6 hours.

That was pretty sick. If he goes unclaimed then that owner just dodged a bullet Matrix style.

herkhorse 07-03-2009 10:14 PM

Sniper, you gonna make it tomorrow?

Where'd you get that?

herkhorse 07-03-2009 10:23 PM

I got it through travelocity 3 races and 10 minutes after Rampillion won. Took a flyer that Aldeb would run and lucked into a double-header. If you can fit in a duffel bag, I'll take you along.

Awesome move, I'm so jealous, I'm sure you guys should have a blast and hopefully bring home two winners.

pointman 07-03-2009 10:41 PM

That was an extremely severe duck in.
Horse has only run once and it is night racing.
I really dont know what caused that.
It was like she wanted to just pull over
quickly and let the others by. That race
was in the bag.
