1. Street Sense won by a measured half-length in the Travers. Apparently it just took Calvin a quarter of a mile to get the measurement.

2. That despite being completely shut off with over a furlong to go Tale of Ekati was not ever going to beat Harlem Rocker. I guess it doesn't matter that TOE continued to close and missed by a nose.

3. That Musket Man's "tough" trip in the Preakness MAY have cost him the victory. Outstanding.

Once again this DQ would be a moot point for me if the stewards were consistent to the non DQ with a comparable incident that happened earlier in the week when a horse interfered with a Contessa horse ridden by one of the Morales boys. Given what happened or didn't happen in that race, it made this decision a bad one if one were to expect some sort of consistency from the stewards.
