Can't remember the name, but the colt (or filly) that set the 4.5 furlong record last year at Keeneland sticks out in my mind. I was impressed by that one.

Lite the Fuse, Coronado's Quest.

at least she got there in less tries than Tubacity. |
Ever A Friend:rolleyes:

One's I remember from the track.. all from Saratoga of course..
Maimonides was impressive in his maiden win at Saratoga, as was Indian Blessing. There was a horse like 4-6 years ago who was really impressive at Saratoga I just cant think if the name. For some reason Zarkava comes to mind but I know its not him.... I give up. |

Kodiak Kowboy
Not certain on speed, but seem to remember it looking incredibly professional for a two year old.

Anything English Channel did must have been good. Also thinking Shakespeare was impressive.

Circular Quay.
Seriously. :) |
Medaglia D'oro
|
Medaglia d'Oro. Broke poorly from the outside (10 hole, I believe) going 6 panels and rushed up. Won by daylight.
|
He didn't even win his debut.
He was 2nd at Turfway. |
He probably beat nothing, but Lost in the Fog had an impressive debut.

The horse that won at GP on turf trained by Mott and ridden by Garcia was probably the best Mdn win I remember this year. Name anyone?

96 Beyer in his debut win over the heavily favored Midas Eyes. |
The most impressive I've seen in person was probably Maria's Mon..
Some honorable mentions go to... Stormy Blues Unbridled's Song Honour And Glory Elusive Quality Flanders Artie Schiller Ghostzapper Kelly Kip Party Manners Diligence Lure Inside Information Heavenly Prize Indian Charlie Rodeo |

I assumed it was about debut wins. |
Summer Colony broke her maiden with a 32.75 length win and a triple digit Beyer.
It was the all-time most impressive maiden win by a horse who had already failed in 7 or more maiden attempts. |

Indian Charlie was pretty awesome.
Cee's Tizzy won his second start and was so impressive, I really did not believe my eyes until I got home and watched it a few more times. Someone mentioned Lakeway. Her debut was forgettable. She won in an all out drive against the decent Madder than Mad. Her second start was insane. There was what I think was the first runner from Peterhof to run in Socal that was awesome. She won by like 10 in her debut, for I think Gary Jones. Mccarron jokingly said after the race "Those Peterhofs sure can run!". I wish I remembered her name. Phone Trick. Barbaro. Swear. The greatest horse nobody has ever heard of. Likeable Style was visually impressive. What was impressive was that last to first move by a humungous filly that was bred to run all day long, but made that move in a sprint. She was by Nijinsky II out of a Nodouble mare. Timebank going 114.2 in his 2nd start (msw) was nice. I think Go For Wand won by like 15. Congaree's maiden win was awesome |
i was at churchill for first samurais maiden. i don't think it was particularly impressive, but i'll always remember it.

He is entered Saturday in a stakes race @ Pimlico...... |

Speaking of PartyManners youtube vids, did anyone mention Smarty Jones, I remember seeing that one posted somewhere. That one deserves a mention.
