kip deville getting ignored a bit due to his last. on a yielding course in that one, but returns to firm today. race should set up for him with plenty of early pace.
thorn song, according to his trainer, will send. i doubt he gets loose on the lead today, things going to be hot up front.
shakis will be closing as well.

again, no fun betting on the heavy fave.

an exciting race coming up, with a contentious field. would have to use kip and shakis in the win spots at their odds. would also use thorn song underneath to hang in there at the end, something on whatsthescript.

A good betting opportunity with Curlin trying syth for the 1st time as are others.

Go Between is working well enough and is proven over the surface, got the right rider for this.

Danzig 10-25-2008 05:59 PM

gee, i can't wait to go thru all this again next year.

-BT- 10-25-2008 06:01 PM

Dettori with a HELL of a ride, followed curlin the whole way home.

He ran well! So much for lacklustre works, another year and he would have won. Kudo's to Baffert for getting Midnight Lute healthy enough to run a race like that yesterday.

he did run very well. and with that foot. that was pretty interesting when they showed his special shoe and all that. baffert did a good job with him, and had a good showing at the bc. maybe not as good as gomez tho....when they showed the jock standings early on, he was still tied with smith. i told my son garrett would win the thing.
