twinspires.com but you need an open accout with recent activity to view their live racing feeds...you may be able to open the account with them, fund it, place your bet on KnS for the recent activity and then watch the race live via their video feed ... all between now and post time

AeWingnut 10-02-2008 08:33 PM

KnS +5

I second the eek

Chuck - did you put her for a cheaper tag in order to get the weight off?
if so, does the price go up with the weight?

here I thought she was gonna get a break.

at least she doesn't have the heaviest $2 in racing weighing her down

The weight doesn't go up with price it is the opposite, you lose weight from the established weight for entering at a smaller claiming price

umm, we lost the weight allowance KnS/ Matthew Straight is at +5

since KnS isn't getting a break in the weights
is the break in the claiming price something that doesn't change?

know what I mean?

pointman 10-02-2008 08:42 PM

Didn't realize that I have to suffer through Battaglia here. What is that Straight kid eating anyway? Good Luck everyone!

ok first you get a weight allowance for the Claiming price say you lose 2lbs for entering at $10,000 instead of $15,000. So if the established weight is 115 lbs your weight is going to be 113lbs

Then you lose the extra pounds for the bug (which I am not sure what his "bug" is) We will say he gets 5lbs taken off. So there for you take that five pounds off of the 113, bringing her weight for the race at 108 lbs. The claiming price doesn't change just because he didn't make the 108.

doll0608 10-02-2008 08:47 PM

Also, if you have to change jockeys at the last minute say the bug boy gets hurt and you have to use a journeyman that weight gets added back on.

Kasept 10-02-2008 08:50 PM

Tote issues...

Still not official with the 7th.

OK... Now they are.. 4-1 to start.

AeWingnut 10-02-2008 08:51 PM
