I know bro..

Anyways...back to the race. She's Prime made a sneaky little middle move in her debut. She only finished 1.5 lengths behind Alkilina that day, who came back to win next out and then ran a pretty game 2nd to Goodday in her race after that.

I don't have any info in front of me, but did Miceli have any horses at Toga? You would think if he did, he would have taken her to run there. She must have came out of her debut ok, as she worked 13 days after and some decent interim works leading into this race. Whats your take on all that?

Just read the part where he explains how to put the plays together. Start with 4A's, then 3A's and a B and so on and so on. You have to decide how much you want to invest, which means you can't always play every combination like a caveman allows. That's about all I have the energy to do.

why do you say 4 a's ?

i have 7 total a's !!!

There is no way you read the book or my pm. Read the book for real this time and play caveman tickets until you get it down. I can't spend anymore time on this, I'm going to go crazy.

OK THERE IT IS, HOW DO I DECIDED WHAT RACE TO TAKE THE A OUT OF ?

Plug in your picks and then follow what he says. Start out with 4A's. Then go with 3A's and a B. So take your A's from the first 3 races and then your B from the last. If you don't have a B in the last, use an A from the last and a B somewhere else.

Seriously, play a caveman until you understand it better. There is no magic way of doing things, but I think his is the best way for the type of wagering I do. it might be different for you. Play how you are most comfortable.

alright !! is this system the best/ONLY way to go, clearly caveman does not work well, but is there anything else i can try ?

Just figure out what works best for you and roll with it.

i am having a hard time figuring things out, i am sick of playing pick 3/4 hitting 2/3 and 3/4 and feeling like im handicapping great but never cashing, every saturday i seem to be down at the end of the day

a/aa/bc/aa- 3/3,4/3,9/6,9- $1=$8
a/aa/abc/aabc- 3/3,4/2,3,9/3,6,7,9- $1=$24
cc/aa/a/aa- 5,6/3,4/2/6,9- $1=$8

Would love to hear some thoughts.

I like her as well. One thing that bothers me is that she was scratched recently however I thought she ran in spots in her debut and was also bet that day for low profile connections in a live looking field.

On another note....once you put PG on ignore it is much easier to read threads like this.

Dahoss! Since you're the man teaching Wagering Strategies 202, I have a semi-serious question for you(or another experienced player).

Today's 8th race at Belmont, I like two horses, neither of whom Steve Byk mentioned on his picks for that race: Offhand Remark and LuckOffhand Remark is 5-1 ml odds and a frontrunner who has demonstrated some initial success on grass. Luck is 20-1 ml odds, yet has beaten Offhand Remark on wet dirt. I wonder if Luck is a mudder, or whether he's come around and will close well on turf today.

What do people think of how to wager the race if you liked these two horses?

And, what do you think of the chances of either horse?
