And McCain is not running for VP. It will be interesting to see if these Rep.
even vote. It wont matter in this state (Texas), McCain will win handily.
But... it might be an indicator if the "real" Republicans in other states vote.

I think the Republicans are doing a good job of getting a fright vote
out of the conservatives that really dont like McCain.

You wrote that Biden is more liberal than Obama.

Name one issue from the primary where that's true.

And, it's Delaware.

Now that Joe Biden is the VP candidate the conservatives will back McCain. Not to mention the fact that many independent voters will shy away from Obama because his ticket is now too Liberal.

Ah....That's always the right approach to take when you are debating someone. Correct them for making a spelling error.

Iraq war.....Social Security reform.

I will post on this thread again in November when McCain wins the election with 55% of the vote.

gales0678 08-23-2008 07:53 PM

funny how Joe Biden is picked by the first african american presidental candidate after he was part of a group of senators to publicly lynch the highest ranking african american justice in this
country

I wonder how how Justice Thomas feels today to see this turkey nominated for VP

Again....I will come back to this very thread the day after the election when McCain has won with 55% of the vote and I will shove it right in your face.

Biden is a two time failed presidential candidate who has a 95% liberal voting record. Obama has not been around long enough to have voted on enough issues to really put him up against Biden's liberal record.

joe has been on judiciary for years. classic stuff.

Mortimer 08-23-2008 08:53 PM

Ah have larnt that:

1...Deleware is not spelled that way.

2...McCain is a republican.

3...Biden is a turkey

4...And BentMahPud has found someone dumber than himself.

Mortimer 08-23-2008 08:54 PM

And that's just from the last page!!

pgardn 08-23-2008 08:57 PM

Clarence Thomas is one of the worst Supreme Court Justices
of all time. Even his Conservative brother Scalia cant make
heads or tales of his reasoning.

Thomas is clearly the least qualified Justice of the modern era.
Forget Anita Hill stuff... the guy is incompetent. Cats out of
the bag.

Obama-Biden is a great ticket for the working middle class.

I would have liked to see Obama try to stay with someone who opposed the Iraq war from the start, however there were very few "politicians" who had the guts to vote against what was obviously a sham

Did anyone here believe Bush's justifications for invading Iraq?

Come on, stand up all ye fools

Just playing around. As McCain says, you have to have a sense of humor:D

I did.
At the time.
Yes I did.

I believed there were WMD's.
I did not think we could actually make a mistake this bad.
When the, "Oh well, we got Saddam out anyways", started,
I wilted and confessed my stupidity.
My conclusion: Confession does not work for me.
I got taken for a ride.

amen.

i remember thinking, "these guys may not be telling me everything, but they're a lot smarter than me and there's no way we'd initiate a war for no good reason."

it's been a learning experience.
