have him at 14-1 to be top debutant... watch out for him next year though, i backed zach johnson to be top rookie the year before he won, im pretty sure he missed the cut..

Debutant?? You f*ckers over there are weird. They are playing golf, not going to a ballroom dance.

damn drunk Irishman...

btw, cant wait to drink again, we're not all drunk, well not all of the time..

TheSpyder 04-08-2008 05:27 PM

Interesting odds on the tourney. They void your bet on someone else it Tiger wins by 5 or more. They must think it will be close

They do specials like that the whole time in all sports.. For racing they might refund your bet if your horse loses by a neck or less, or if your horse finishes 2nd to the fav etc...

true true, thats why they play the tourney! Its just funny because EVERYONE in the contest has tiger.

My co-worker and I are doing a contest formatted this way:

Pick 3 players (not named Tiger).

Assign points for how they finish (if the player finishes 3rd = 3 pts, 50th = 50 pts, etc.)

1 pt deduction if your player is leading after any round.

Person with the least amount of points following the conclusion wins!

I picked Olgivy/Harrington/Donald. He picked Rose/Scott/Sabbatini. I am feeling lucky!

I also like to use this format in a Kentucky Derby contest. (pick 5 horses, add up the points based on how they finish and the person with the least amount of points wins)

jwkniska 04-09-2008 05:38 PM

well... the jinx goes to Sabbatini.... he won the par 3 tourney, which means he won't win this weekend.

TheSpyder 04-09-2008 05:40 PM

Saw that and I really liked him. Still think he'll be in the hunt...even though I don't really like him.

Master's Contest Day One Results

Swedejxn - 5
MinnySkinny - 5
Philcski - 1
Swale84 - 1
Timmgirvan - 1
CoachPants - 1
Cowgirlintexas - 1

Sparce scoring with Justin Rose pick key for Swedejxn and MinnySkinny. With 37 entries looks like we have some off the pace contestants.
Tiger Who??? Phil Who?

How could you not have picked Brian Bateman or Trevor Immelman or Brant Snedecker? Better luck today!

Let the meltdown commence.

The cream always rises to the top save one or two surprises. Zach Johnson looks like he's got a little mojo with the course. The longer he stays in contention, the more his confidence will grow.

Coach Pants 04-11-2008 09:13 AM

horseofcourse 04-12-2008 08:27 AM

Do I get points for Angel Cabrera quitting smoking after his 50 pack effort at Oakmont??
