We will run if it comes off. She is doing really well and I am anxious to run her and we would qualify for a special date next time out meaning we would be a lock to get into the 50000NW2 race when we chose to run. Tampa is a pretty good track even if it is sloppy (not great but better than most)

KNS doesn't know she's a $20k claimer. in her mind she can run with RTR.:D

Safe travels everyone! have a Great day with our girl. hope she has a safe trip, runs her heart out and maybe win picture.

I thought I just heard thunder, so a quick check of the radar and lo and behold, there's a line of thunderstorms moving in....

I think it is good.

Scratch Paris Winds and get KNS a get out of jail free card for the next N2L carded.

It's a win win....and maybe a win.

Hickory Hill Hoff 02-23-2008 09:10 AM

and do collect $200 or more!

Rain or shine..Good Luck Chuck and all DTers and come back safely

Heels1989 02-23-2008 09:19 AM

I was hoping to make another return visit to Oldsmar this weekend but a busy work week and yesterday's weather in the mid-atlantic/northeast kept me from making my flight. Will make a trip over to Laurel this afternoon to watch our girl and maybe take a stab at the Magna 5.

Everyone root her home safely as I know DC will have her flying in the stretch.

And remember, big smiles in the winner circle.:D

DB

pmacdaddy 02-23-2008 09:22 AM

Let's get 'em today...Good Luck!!!

Meeting up at Hauppauge OTB for race and a few cold ones if anyone is in the area.

Dave,

If she wins, you're not allowed back down here....LOL.

Hope you can catch the next one.

Talk about an omen for Electric Sky.

Should be an interesting race if it comes off the turf. I think it increases our win chances and if nothing else we learn how she handles an off track. Plus that get out of jail free card will be useful.

Cannon Shell 02-23-2008 09:40 AM

Mott has scratched and it is raining heavily right now. I believe there are additional scratches also

Could we still wind up on the turf?

Danzig 02-23-2008 09:44 AM

keeping fingers crossed. here's hoping she likes the slop....

We will know in 15 mins. But I would rather run on the dirt in this spot because of the date preference next time. If we were to win it would not matter though.

I doubt it. They are going to want to keep the turf in the best condition for the Stake race. Since KNS is before the Stake, I give it zero chance to stay on.

It looks like the rain will move through fairly quickly and I am guessing she may get a "good" track. Tampa has a lot of sand, drains well and dries out quickly.

The best horse in the race and the three worst. The 14 looks more dangerous than any of the 5, 12, or 13 would have been. Getting Paris Winds out of there sure swings the door wide open though.

Danzig 02-23-2008 10:23 AM

right now, wishing we had never moved from fla.

How's is Tampa with pulling races off the turf the last minute? as bad as other tracks?

herkhorse 02-23-2008 10:29 AM

Go get em KNS, best of luck to all those in Tampa. I'll be watching from Oaklawn today.

Might make the 50's here today, after the races I'll start the 1285 mile drive home.

Sorry to hear the news about "The Voice", Finger Lakes won't be the same.:(

Hickory Hill Hoff 02-23-2008 10:53 AM

I see Paris Winds was announced as a vet scratch on the Equibase changes and not a trainer scratch.
