horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:42 PM

moron.

Mortimer 02-07-2008 12:42 PM

He's very angry.

:)

Of course...if I said I knew everything about Cleveland sports and then was made to look like a complete imbecile in 3 simple steps....well I guess I'd be angry, too.

:)

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:43 PM

Dave Jacobs moron.....

that far from your memory????

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:44 PM

...again I answered parts of question one correctly. I answered question 2 correctly and I answered question 3 correctly.

I'm clueless as to your mission here???

MORON!!!!

Admitting dunceship still makes you

ZEE-RO for 3.

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:45 PM

first cav to score 50 in a game???

I'm confused...how does answering questions correctly give me zero??

is it because you are a MORON?????

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:49 PM

Walt WEsley you moron..

what year did Ken Schrom make the all star team?????

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:52 PM

1986 you moron...

What 4 players did the INdians get for Eckersley from boston and who was traded with him???

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 12:57 PM

Prey...

victorious!!!!

thud. or something like that...I'm 8500 posts behind and am not well versed.

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:03 PM

Ya see, morty, the prey wins because I choose to play and even though I wasn't 100 percent correct I answered your 3 questions...2 completely correct (even though you asked question 2 completely improperly and not truthfully...the AAFC champ was not a world champ nor is the NFL champ and I did in fact know 9 of the 10.) and i did get one member of the 1946 game one backfield correct.

you have not the gumption nor ability to go man up with me....I took the challenge in your rapid fire game and gave my best guess and was correct

I gave you a series and you quit.

IT was after all one of the most famous trades in Cleveland sports lore...

Paxton, Cox, Wise, and Diaz for Eck and Fred Kendall.

MORON!!!!!

PREY>>>predator.

Mortimer 02-07-2008 01:05 PM

...again I answered parts of question one correctly. I answered question 2 correctly and I answered question 3 correctly.

Sporty Fans...I require your help.

When a dolt says..."...you have made a fool of me.....do it again."

What does Emily Post say about this?

I think she would say..."run the swine through!!"

:)

Piglet......you said you knew everything there was to know about Cleveland sports....KNEW.

That means admitting use of internet knowledge to try and complete an answer is admitting you did not KNOW.

That means getting 3 out of 4 DOES NOT COUNT.....and that means saying "BAERGA???????"...who you admit you thought had done it in a game ,but wasn't sure about an inning is COMPLETELY WRONG......and also outside of the 10 second answering period.....making it more WRONG.

OK?

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:08 PM

question...who came back off a sprained ankle after missing a game and the Cavs won their next two???

(hint...it wasn't Sasha Pavlovic or Anderson Varejao!!!)

question...the Cavaliers have not won a single game when this player has not played. which member of the Cavs is that??

MORON!!!!!!

morty, morty, morty, will you never learn?? although I'm only at 700 posts...you should be smart enough to learn or are you just a MORON!!!!

Mortimer 02-07-2008 01:10 PM

I must now leave this thread having rendered a certain animal a babbling idiot.

Because it must be so...it is the only way this could have ended........as you all know...

I do not chew my prey.

I merely kill it and move on.

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:12 PM

morty, unlike you I do not live on this board...only partially...not completely as you do. I answered the Baerga question as soon as I saw it. Did I really say I knew every single FACT about Cleveland sports that existed?? If I did I sincerely apologize. I probably said I knew more than you. But if I did say at one time I knew every single FACT that it was merely metaphorically to exaggerate what I do know.

Perhaps you can refer me to where I stated I knew every single FACT about Cleveland sports that ever existed in their entire history.

I sincrely apologize for upstaging you by stating that if I really did. Perhaps I did. But I assure you, I do not know every single FACT about every post on this forum as Morty does evidently.

gutless coward even for being a predator!!!

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:13 PM

morty, you have to learn how to be a better loser like the cleveland sports teams!!

classic morty...when losing...quit and move on!!! thank you morty for your entertainment and for you to call any other poster a babbling idiot simply takes the all time classic cake!!! Priceless!! Poor morty...always getting out of the kitchen!!!

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:32 PM

Mortimer???

predator or conifer????

horseofcourse 02-07-2008 01:37 PM

answer...neither. He is in fact a deciduous tree. It is winter and they are completely naked...as I have rendered Mortimer. He is stripped completely naked by my continual stupid thread dominance over him. He can only run and hide!!

The Bid 02-07-2008 02:48 PM

Who was the worst indians catcher of all time.

Mortimer 02-07-2008 03:36 PM

Interesting question,Bid.

If catcher is the most critical position on the team defensively speaking ( certainly the most critical in foul territory) ....well I'm just going to have to put my thinking cap on for this one.

It's not a well covered category in history, but from what I gather having read.....my stab will be Gary Alexander.

Why...thank you ,Hossy.

I did dial up BRAIN SEPARATION on the DIAL-A-VAPE.

I liked it.

The Bid 02-07-2008 07:45 PM

I was willing to accept Chris Bando, or Andy Allison

Mortimer 02-07-2008 07:49 PM

How was my guess...in your opinion?

The Bid 02-07-2008 08:51 PM

He was at the wire with both Bando and allison but got nosed.

Mortimer 02-07-2008 09:14 PM

Too kind.

Phooey.

Was it not a noble effort however trying to one up the master?? It is humbling to give it everything you've got and come up well short. I am like Ohio State in a BCS title game. I really thought I could get him this time but the last word can never be mine...

...crap.

Mortimer 02-25-2008 10:12 AM

One more chance...again without looking it up:

A....Name all 5 retired Browns numbers and the names of the players associated with the numbers.

B....Name the Brown who is 2nd career all time receiving yards,3rd in td's and leads the list with 19.6 avg. yrds. per catch...all this despite playing in 9 12 game seasons. He also held the Texas Relays 100 yard dash record at 9.5.

c...What was the aboves number?

Absolutely NO CHEATING allowed.

2 Dollar Bill 02-25-2008 10:23 AM

Is this for the Current Browns.... or the Baltimore Browns Opps ravens ?

Mortimer 02-25-2008 10:25 AM

It's all time for the Browns....'46 through last year....and since they didn't play from '96 through '98 it would not include a disgsuting raven.

But there is a hint of when he played in the question.

Jim Brown 32
Otto Graham 14
Lou Groza or Marion Motley76??
Bill Willis 30
Len Ford 60

not sure...probably lots of mistakes here.

I dont' know...I would say Lavelli or Speedie but they weren't that fast. Dub Jones?? Gary Collins caught lots of TDs but didn't play 12 game seasons...so not him and he wasn't fast. I don't know if you're including AAFC stats in your all time stuff either. I never count those. I"ll say Lavelli, but don't know his number...

66??

horseofcourse 02-25-2008 11:41 AM

Bad...only 2.5 on the retired jerseys...got 3 numbers and 3 people but wasn't sure. Shame on me for forgetting Ernie Davis as well. That is an embarrasment. (I should have cheated!!)

You are commended for being honest.

But MY GOD!!

ror!!

I don't know if you found out ,but:

Graham.....................14
Brown.......................32
Davis........................45
Don Flemming.............46
Groza........................76

Shameful Willis' 60 has not been retired....and Motley was 76 in the AAC,but went to 36 in the NFL......shameful his isn't either.

Ray Renfro is the receiver....number 26.

Doesn't get anywhere near the credit he should.

Mortimer 02-25-2008 11:57 AM

And Renfro never played in the AAC.

Lavelli ran a 9.6 hundred at Ohio State.

horseofcourse 02-25-2008 12:00 PM

I forgot about Renfro...he was from Texas and his son caught the touchdown that wasn't called a touchdown for Houston in the AFC title game against Pittsburgh in the late 70s. I knew Lavelli was wrong...oh well. Maybe next time.

The math professor from Texas who played qb was underappreciated as well. It was my understanding the '65 team was better than the '64 team and they could have had back to back titles with him at qb but for playing on a pig slop field in Green Bay (I guess if they were good enough the field shouldn't have bothered them.)

Fine work..Frank Ryan...no.13.
I agree with what you said.

horseofcourse 02-25-2008 12:05 PM

"A Characterization of the Set of Asymptotic Values of a Function Holomorphic in the Unit Disc"

...his phd dissertation...let's see Mr Tom Brady sift his way through that one!!!

horseofcourse 02-25-2008 12:08 PM

Who was the other Browns qb to have a doctorate?? (hint...he was a dentist!)
