OK....you're crazy.

I'll never forget the five horse field at Belmont where he got disqualified for effectively fouling himself.

Didn't Julie Krone once claim foul against her entry-mate?

Yup, and PG Johnson never rode her again.

LOL@ this whole thread, are you serious? hooves youre a fucin idiot since you wanna call names and always have been since you and john frank showed up for the sole purpose of just talking sh1t. thing are still the same with you, i see you know absolutely nothing. again sore horses go to the track and race every single day at all class levels. again i heard it from somebody who was actually on the horses back. theres a reason why nick put the horse in for a tag and theres a reason it took the horse so long to run back off the claim, some people have no clue

I think it will refute the silly notion that he didn't run well. My guess? With even a professional jockey he would have won and it is hard to deny that he was at least close to the best horse in that race.

Maybe he'll get another boneheaded ride tomorrow and then get a rider switch, Rudy Rodriguez would be a huge move up, and find a good spot for the following race.

oh god, the ride didnt cost him the race and the horse that won was much the best that day. why i even bother responding i dont know. howbout the day he was claimed for 25k and was pulled up early that day? YOURE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT HE WAS NEVER SORE WHILE WITH NICK ZITO, LOL SERIOUSLY WTF ARE YOU SMOKING?

yes i have nothing better to do with my time then come here and lie/make outrageous claims, thats why the horse was dropped in for a tag to get claimed and got pulled up that day, DC is the soundest thing on the grounds solely cuz he comes from the NZ barn:rolleyes:

fpsoxfan 12-29-2007 12:49 PM

Doc Cheney got another very poor ride. I usually don't get too down on jockeys, but Ortiz might want to look into a different career.

Shouldn't such a racing expert like yourself be doing more in the game than hotwalking $5k claimers?

I know, I know, you're an owner.

yeah he wasnt hurt, why the hell was he pulled up the day NZ layed him in for 25k and he got claimed that day? justa coincidence right? nick didnt know it was time to get ridda him huh? nother solid effort from DC today, god id hate to see how the poor thing came back after the race today, i honestly cant believe some are as naive as they appear to be

I assume everybody got fat.

Funny, he didn't look lame today with a different rider.

hoovesupsideyourhead 01-25-2008 03:06 PM

yes its tough when you have to defend something for no reason

The whole thing is laughable......and frankly stands as a great example of the foolishness of so-called " backstretch info " versus watching races and handicapping. To anyobe who understands race watching, Doc Cheney ran very well in both his last two starts, and couldn't overcome bad race riding and circumstance. Today he had a new rider and a race filled with pace on a track that seemed to be playing at least somewhat fair.

It took a great ride to win it, and he certainly is no superstar, but if you paid attention you cashed. And, of course, didn't pay attention to absurd supposed backstretch jabber.

fpsoxfan 01-25-2008 05:43 PM

Nice Job Andy. I wish I had remembered this thread!! I totally forgot about this horse. 5-1 was pretty nice. Would have been higher had the entry scratched. Got a terrible ride last time out. Nice ride this time!

blackthroatedwind 01-25-2008 05:46 PM

Thanks. It was a great ride. The horse deserved it after the last two horrible rides it got.

Thoroughbred Fan 01-25-2008 10:24 PM

Hey Andy-

I missed the thread having a baby this week. First time father. Great analysis of the previous trips, jockeys, and field today. Throw this new Dad a bone and give out some more winning info. I'll take it by PM if you don't want everyone getting fat off of it. My baby needs some new shoes.

Great work.

-Chris

blackthroatedwind 01-25-2008 10:29 PM

It's actually sort of an old thread....but his first start back.

Congrats on the baby. That's great. Much more important than any winners.

I have an eleven month old.

Thoroughbred Fan 01-26-2008 01:04 PM

Both the wife and baby are fine. We are home.

Sleep? What is that?

Andy, you are right, a healthy baby is more important than any winner. I consider myself a winner that we are all doing fine.

Danzig 01-26-2008 01:34 PM
