Isn't it a miracle how the new trainer got that lil hang problem solved?

#6 Touch of Cat (9-2) - Hate swallowing short prices in N2L races, but this is the NGLFEWFM angle. 2ND @ 7-2
#8 Zara's Storm (9-5) - The ultimate hanger, will cover on 1 ticket, but huge play against in heavier small tickets WINS @ 6-5
#9 Tell Us More (12-1) - Impeccable breeding on this Nebraska bred gelding. Shocked the world @ 78-1 when he ran by them all in the slop in his debut at Prarie Meadows. Turned out to be a key race when the place horse won next out against donkeys at Fairplex. May get a dream trip here and Ranilla ain't showing up today for sh*ts and giggles...he knows he has hoss here.

$2 EX $17.60
$2 TRI $247.40

Race 9

#5 Invisible Light (10-1) - Like Bigs said, will love the move to grass

#7 Loushe (8-1) - Huge trainer switch and Centeno is $$ on the sod

#8 Famous Frolic (7-2) - Faced tons better than these and Pablo adds blinks.

#10 Judith's Lake (8-1) - Toss last yeilding turf effort and he can run with these

Race 10

#2 Forest Fever (7-2) - Spotted well for this, Bennett/Montalvo rock solid combo
#4 Jet Prop (10-1) - Go back a ways, but his last NON-TURF start at this condition puts him at the wire. Race has some speed and this Mecke gelding has shown he aint afraid to pass horses in the stretch.
#6 Islandprospectrbob (6-1) - Lightly race Suave Prospect colt still has right to improve.
#8 Even Par (5-2) - Obvious use, but beatable

Race 11 (I'd say press the all button, but all are capable of not making it to the wire)

Like Rude, the only ones that makes sense to me are:

5,7,9

Large Ticket $192

2,6,8,9/5,7,8,10/2,4,6,8/5,7,9

Small Ticket $48

2,6,9/5,7,8,10/2,6/7,9

nice gpk

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-18-2007 03:12 PM

SCUDSBROTHER 12-18-2007 03:39 PM

I thought I remembered Tampa being good to me, not today

Off to Mountaineer where I was saved by an exacta last night

SCUDSBROTHER 12-18-2007 04:05 PM

10 is scratched.........got 5 and 9 i guess now...or do they have consellation there?

SCUDSBROTHER 12-18-2007 04:12 PM

That was boring...Makes Meadowlands harness look good in 2 hours.Normally would be pissed I didn't get the favorite for a late p3.Fact is I know I was lucky to get that pig 10 to get scratched.Consellation is a gift $85,actually.

Bigsmc 12-18-2007 04:38 PM

Seasonal trainer that usually takes a little while to get going...has a much smaller stable this year (I think she has 8 stalls)....Had a 22-1 get up for place on Saturday I believe...3-1-2-0 for the meet

Rudeboyelvis 12-18-2007 08:30 PM

Congrats to NTamm and GPK for taking down the P4 for the first time this meet....Brutal day all around...the rail died after the rain from the front on Sunday apparently, as anything with an inside trip stopped.

Live racing returns Friday ;) May actually take a break a focus on Saturday's card

Thank you, sir.

Again the formula for playing this track of the first few cards holds where the horses who won at prices had works at Tampa no matter how much or little horse they were and a handful of jocks seem to understand the place appearing not to be totally explained by best jocks get the best mounts as the prices appear to imply that although very early average win odds are about 5-1 and while my newest best infatuation Rosey Jr wins her 4th and 5th races this meet and continues to be a decent angle for SPRINT WINS as all 5 of Rosie's wins have come at less than a mile.

She has always been a decent play for sprints and death in routes the last few years but the trend in the early going for Rosie Jr. is worth a few bucks so far.

Hopefully the weekend is good to us all..

Good news is that she got her one win for the meet out of the way early.

Wouldn't play one of her horses with Viscount's money.
