I met them when we all were on "pickets" in 1973 grocery strike in SoCal!
I don't think they all died... just probably retired and went back home. We played cards and I listened to all their stories...cracking up...they were from the Meatcutters Union....which is all but dissolved into the Clerks' Union! That's prolly more info than you wanted to know:rolleyes:

Ya got that right. I will be honest, when I first had someone ask me over for a bbq and to watch the race....I was like, "If I wanna see horse power, I will put TVG on, or go to the track". But I went and after about the 2nd race I started looking for the same car and now I fully admit I am a total Nascar fan. Been to several races, watch every week and my trucks license plate has my drivers number (17) on it. Call me a dork if ya want but I love it.
